 Does anyone else love this show?  I was turned on to it just this summer since one of my friends owns the first four seasons on DVD. It's my big obsession right now! I can't watch it otherwise though since we have to pay to get Showtime channel...Anyways, it's about a suburban housewife who deals weed (hence the title) in order to maintain her family's lifestyle after her husband tragically passes. It makes for quite an interesting comedy. The show has received its fair share of awards and nominations over the years too. Mary-Louise Parker, the main actress, won a Golden Globe for her performance on the show. Oh, and the opening to the show is quite funny too.  Elvis Costello's version In season 2 and 3 they have someone different sing the opening for every episode including Regina Spektor and Linkin Park. I f***ing love Weeds! I'm just catching up now and I'm halfway through season 4.
Fave characters: Celia, Nancy, Isabel, Silas and Heylia.  I just need to know one thing though: Do they ever go back to Agrestic? They're in the house near the beach now and Nancy and Celia are working in the Maternity store (with the tunnel to Mexico in the storeroom. ) I really miss Agrestic

I'll probably start Season 4 later today! Well, technically, I watched the first few episodes of that season before even finishing season 1.
I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure they don't go back to Agrestic (actually now Majestic lol) or at least in this season... and that's why they don't show the opening anymore! Although I'm not sure what they're up to or where they're at in season 5. |

I love weeds. I got introduced to it by a flat mate and have all 4 seasons on my Hard Drive

Yeah, I knew it burned down, but I secretly want them to go back.
I just downloaded the last four episodes of season 4 and shall watch them tonight.  It's seriously good and I love Celia's pill addiction!

I'll probably be finishing season 4 tonight as well. I think I only have 2 more episodes. And when I go to my aunt's for the next week I should be able to watch first 5 or 6 episodes of season 5 since she gets Showtime!

I luv this show
I've watched all seasons, and I just watched the third episode of the fifth season today  It's one of my summer pleasures! Celia and Andy always make me laugh I think Mary-Louise Parker is perfect for the role, and the rest of the cast is also very good. With guest stars like Alanis Morissette and Jennifer Jason Leigh this fifth season promises some very interesting things. |

Do you have to import them? I know the first 3 seasons were $13.99 each on Amazon not too long ago!
 But I see they aren't anymore...

Anyone start watching episodes from Season 5 yet? Just watched the 4th one last night. This season seems pretty uneventful so far... Jennifer Jason Leigh was great though! I don't think this season has been very interesting right now imo.

Celia and Nancy have an amazing chemistry. Love them together, they are the most funny thing on the show The matches scene was priceless

Not yet, i'm gonna try to get it when i get home to the UK on Sunday. I hope it's good, i got a bit of a feeling in S4 that the show was goin a bit OTT in places. I can't see it lasting too much longer unless S5 is epic. If S5 is amazing then i take it all back, otherwise it;s gonna get canned after 6 imo. |

After watching the 5th episode in season 5 it seems the season finally has a direction and is getting a bit more interesting. I'm liking it more now.
 Shocking to see Nancy and Shane move in with Esteban at the end of the episode!
