Only seen three but would like to see the other two as I think both films looks pretty good.
1 Colin Firth "A Single Man" 2 Jeremy Renner "The Hurt Locker" 3 Morgan Freeman "Invictus" I thought all of these were very good but none really blew me away. I liked the melancholy feel to Colin Firth's performance so that just edges it for me but Renner was very important to the overall success of his film and Morgan Freeman was impressively accurate too but his performance was a little boring for me. Not sure who else I'd nominate as I haven't seen much from this year. Perhaps Sharlto Copley for District 9 as a bit of a curve-ball choice, he was great in my opinion! |

REALLY wish Tobey Maguire got an Oscar nod for Brothers, such an outstanding performance.
Jeremy my personal winner though. |
