March 19, 201114 yr Author I think it'd be the most realistic if it was to happen in 701 rather than 623. If we see Booth really start to move past his issue and Brennan work on hers as we lead up to the finale, then for Brennan to go on a dig for 2/3weeks really really miss him and have her epiphany that the risk she'd take is worth it to feel loved and truly happy and have her running back to Booth at the start of the episode, for them to get a case and her to confess her love over a dead body at a crime scene [it just feels very Brennan to do that] and for them to have major tension throughout the episode culminating in a quick solve and some consummation at the end of the season opener. Hint at it during the promo's and it'd be hello 4.0 rating and yet another renewal :funky:
March 20, 201114 yr Author It depends how the widely anticipated Friday move goes in Fall. Although some people aren't expecting Alcatraz and/or Terra Nova to make it past 4weeks so it's reckoned Bones will be pulled back to a good slot before the winter break. Others seem to think a House/Bones bloc is likely. [We'd get some good strong ratings from that]
March 20, 201114 yr House and Glee both took a nose dive this week Glee scored 11.15 million viewers. I don't know about House, but Glee definitely didn't take a nose dive in the ratings, this week. :kink:
March 21, 201114 yr It did in the 18-49 number though. Does that matter though? Is it as, or even more, important than overall viewing figures? (I'm not being pretentious, I just honestly don't know how these things work :P)
March 21, 201114 yr Author The viewing figures mean absolutely nothing. 18-49 is the most important number for American TV [Except CW which targets Women 18-34] The 18-49 number is what the ad rates are based on and how the TV networks earn their money. It makes up a substantial part of the renewal decision. TVbytheNumbers has a wonderful bit explaining what all the figures mean but i can't find the link at the moment

That's interesting actually. Thank you. ^_^
March 22, 201114 yr Author On the subject of viewer numbers Bones actually beat Glee by 500k :o With Bones coming #9 in the weeks 18-49 and #10 on viewers :cheer: AND it was the highest of all the Scripted Fox shows on viewers. [source: TVbytheNumbers] There is no way we don't get season 7, or 8.
March 25, 201114 yr Author Bones aired a repeat of 603 'The Maggots In The Meathead' aka as Bones vs Jersey Shore It got a 2.5 rating, which is pretty impressive given the original airing got a 2.6
April 2, 201114 yr Extremely doubtful. Surely she'll be massive by the time they start shooting the new season so perhaps they can hide her behind tables for a few episodes (and then have a small hiatus).
April 4, 201114 yr Author I have no idea if they'll write it in or not, that'd be one hell of a quick development if Brennan was preg, so i don't imagine they will. Bones might not premier until Jan next year to allow her to give birth and start filming sans bump

Bones might not premier until Jan next year to allow her to give birth and start filming sans bump Probably for the best. If Brennan and Booth hook up on the series finale, the added three month wait and perhaps a season premiere after American Idol next January = Ratings winner.
April 4, 201114 yr Author And it would probably avoid a Friday move if we could nick Alcatraz's space on the schedule for example. A B&B hook up then a 7month wait for season 7 should see at least a 3.5 premier, maybe even 3.8 behind Idol.
April 6, 201114 yr Author I have no idea if they'll write it in or not, that'd be one hell of a quick development if Brennan was preg, so i don't imagine they will. Can they not link the hook up and the pregnancy? :kink: See above. It wouldn't be believable in the slightest for B&B to hook up in the series finale and then for Brennan to be pregnant straight away.
April 8, 201114 yr Author 617 was brilliant. Completely brilliant. The standard of this season has been utterly sublime, easily the best season since the second.
