At this point I think it's down to Aaron whether he wants to put it to a poll over whether it should be permitted or not (I think this is a classic example of where something comes under the rules but clearly isn't the target of the rule, hence qualifying for the exception clause...), or whether he just wants to change his entry.

Hmph, I'm still not convinced "Soul Survivor" will get a release. It'll most likely be a download only single and "In Your Shoes" seems to be the main focus, with a Chipmunk remix. I think the only thing will be that "Soul Survivor" will be available on the iTunes/Amazon EP. (like "Every Step" was for the lead single) I doubt that it'll even get a video.

I see "Soul Survivor" as the single two version of "Every Step" right now. If the proper single got little to no attention and peaked at #96, I doubt the second single will get any at all, let alone the double A-side to it.

I honestly thought the plan was to ditch "Soul Survivor" as the double A side and to go ahead with "In Your Shoes" with Chipmunk. Apparently she hadn't mentioned this recently.

Oh I dunno, if it's still a problem I'll have to find another entry. Just gutted because I think everyone should hear this song, whereas only 5-10 people will probably listen to it otherwise. :(

I quite liked that idea but it did still have a few big exceptions, such as The Saturdays - although I suppose we could include those under the SuBo/Alexandra group of reasonable intervention?

haha, maybe some artists could be removed actually, clearly sending The Beatles or Bloc Party to BJSC wouldn't be cheap
