Not A Girl before Overprotected? :o

No 'Overprotected'?! :snif: One of my fave Britney singles!! :(

 

Also the lack of 'Do Somethin'' disappoints me -_- I thought they'd include it as it was such a big crowd pleaser :o - Hmmm... I hope they add them both to the UK Editions. Doubt it though :(

The tracklisting would be perfect if it had Overprotected, My Prerogative and Do Somethin'. I actually don't mind the lack of Sometimes, From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart and Break The Ice.

Very pleased that the likes of Boys, Radar and Born To Make You Happy were included, even though the first two weren't precisely commercial triumphs and the third wasn't released in the US and Latin America.

 

Nevertheless, I won't deny I was expecting a different sort of compilation. A double CD with all of them songs released plus a few extras in the form of And Then We Kiss and Someday (I Will Understand) would've been quite amazing. Meh, the box set collectors edition will do the treat anyways.

Yeah, I think the purpose of the box set is for the people who want ALL of the singles. But I could see the album coming out in a double/extended version or something like that on maybe iTunes like Madonna's new singles collection.

 

I can also see why they left off My Prerogative and Do Somethin' even though I would've loved to see Do Somethin' in the track list as well. Maybe it's so people will still go out and buy the first Greatest Hits if they want those tracks? :lol: Otherwise I don't think they'd get any more sales out of that one.

Well there is going to be a Standard edition (which is this), a deluxe edition (which will probably include all of her singles and perhaps a bonus track), and then the ultimate fan box set (All 29 singles in slip sleeves, DVD with all her music videos in chronological order, A detailed booklet, and the deluxe edition of the Singles collection, and apparently an amazing looking box to store it)

 

Pretty smart on Jives part, alot of people will buy this just because there are 3 price ranges, you get just as much as you pay for. I can also see ALOT of fans getting all three.

I agree. I'm definitely buying all the versions as I love to collect Britney stuff!

Will the special edition of the album be getting a UK release?

I don't think it's really known yet what is getting released where besides all three versions most likely being released in the US. I'd think the standard and deluxe editions would be released internationally and the box set would probably be released in bigger markets including the UK.

I'd think all three would be released in the UK. It's a popular market for her.
