Posted September 21, 200915 yr Not sure if this is true or not, nothing official on the web site yet so who knows, and this story is from the mirror  I guess it's going to happen sometime or other, might aswell get it over and done with, I'm tired of hearing about TT and Robbie re-unions. http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/2009/0...15875-21689161/ Rob back for good one night 21/09/2009 CHARITY GIG MAY REUNITE TAKE THAT He snubbed their reunion  and got left out in the cold - but now Robbie Williams and Take That plan to relight their fire, on stage. We can reveal that Gary Barlow has asked Robbie to perform his new single, Bodies, at next month's Children In Need charity extravaganza at London's Royal Albert Hall. And with Jason, Mark and Howard also lurking in the wings that night, surely they will all join for one little song? Robbie and Gary have been working together for months trying to concoct something special. And they figured that a Children In Need fundraiser was a fantastic reason to finally reunite. Robbie tells us: "Yes something is definitely going to happen. Me and Gary have been hanging out a lot lately, talking things over. "It's been absolutely amazing. I've always wanted to be in a band ever since we split." Robbie, 35, had considered rejoining Take That on stage while they were on tour. But he feared it might look as if he was trying to jump on their bandwagon. So this one-night-only special is ideal. Edited September 21, 200915 yr by Sparkle
September 21, 200915 yr Author http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/music/musicne...cial-71635.html Robbie To Rejoin Take That - It’s Official  *Scream!!* This is the news we’ve all been waiting for…. Robbie Williams is going to be getting back on stag with Take That next month! Okay, so it’s only a one-off show with his former bandmates, but we’re pretty sure once they remember how much they love each other, everything will be happy days once again. The band (plus mr Williams) are due to perform a special charity gig at the Royal Albert Hall, and Gary Barlow has reportedly invited Robbie to perform his new single Bodies at the Children In Need extravaganza. However, if rumours are true, it looks as though there is a pretty strong chance that Robbie will join his former bandmates on stage for a good old sing-along, and Robbie himself even admitted; "Yes, something is definitely going to happen. Me and Gary have been hanging out a lot lately, talking over things." Is anyone else super excited? (NOPE)
September 21, 200915 yr Ahhh well I'm not too happy about that but he'll steal the show lol   He had also mentioned this in his Paris radio station interview that is on his site. That was also a hilarious interview! He hasn't changed one bit! lol :D Edited September 21, 200915 yr by Supreme
September 21, 200915 yr Ugh :puke: I have a feeling this is actually true this time. As much as I dont want him to have anything to do with TT, the thought of it actually being done and out of the bloody way once and for all is great. If he performs Bodies as a solo artist, they perform their material and then they do some sort of melody of old TT tracks it would be the most acceptable scenario imo, far more suitable than him joining them on stage on tour. Ideally what I would like is for both Rob and TT is say they will not be performing or collaborating in any way in the future but as that doesnt look likely this is prob the best thing to happen and get it out of the way. I just want to enjoy the upcoming months of promotion and the album release without all this endless crap.

Let's get it over with once and for all! ;)
September 21, 200915 yr Robbie seems these days to have his ' Rose Tinted Glasses ' firmly superglued to his nose...lets' hope when he takes them off that he does not get the shock of his life <_< Edited September 22, 200915 yr by staralliance
September 21, 200915 yr I agree with everything! The Take That fans feel as :puke2: about Rob and TT together (even for one paltry song) just as much as the Rob fans feel :puke2: about it! I'm pretty sure though, if a better 'promotion' opportunity comes along ... Rob will be able to graciously back out of the CIN one. Lets all keep our fingers crossed! Norma

Norma Fingers crossed indeed Norma. The fans of both TT and Rob who are excited about them collaborating are definatly in the minority, so in reality the only reason for them to do anything would be to get it out of the way. Whilst I can accept they are mates again and are prob excited about doing something, the fact of the matter is the vast majority of the fans of both acts DO NOT WANT IT TO HAPPEN
September 21, 200915 yr Take That are still together  I mean I knew they rejoined a few years back but I didn't think they were still around. You don't hear much if anything about them anymore.

September 21, 200915 yr Robbie seems these days to have his ' Rose Tinted Glasses ' firmly superglued to his nose...lets' hope when he takes them off that he does not get the shock of his life <_< Agreed. He was only saying the other week that he wants to do something with TT but wants to see if his album does well first so people dont say he 'has' to go back with them. Well, if this event is on next month and the alubm isnt out till November then logically it makes no sence. Perhaps he thinks that because Bodies is topping the airplay charts around Europe is enough  I wish Tim and David would just tell him to stick to being a solo artist and concentrate on pleasing his fans because frankly I am sick of this whole TT thing and as a fan I am not pleased by the prospect of anything with TT. Aside from Rule The World, I think their output since their comeback has been average at best and far too MOR for my taste, and I have never liked Gary's voice, find it almost as bland as Chris Martin's, so any sort of a duet would not make me happy, more likely to put me to sleep tbh. North America aside, he is the biggest selling music act of the bloody decade on a global scale, most people in the world only know TT as the band Robbie Williams used to be in. He needs to remember that and remember that those in the UK who want this to happen are in the minority. Tbh, I just want to enjoy the upcoming months with Rob on the promo trail, I dont want to have to dread any sort of TT collab. Id perfer it to be announced that they were doing some sort of 20th Anniversary special next year or 2011. Or better yet, 3011

You don't hear much if anything about them anymore. Not really suprising you dont know they are still together considering you live in Australia. Although the British media would have you believe TT are out there giving U2 and Coldplay a run for their money as the biggest band in the world. Speaking of the supremly braindead British tabloids, there was an article in the Mirror the other day saying Rob wanted to move to Austalia to try and crack the market  They are so ignorant and naive, and have zero clue about anything on an international basis in the music industry unless it is the US. Rob is the biggest selling International star of the decade there, his last tour I believe still holds the record as the biggest ever in Australia with over half a million tickets sold. It never fails to make me laugh

The last time Robbie was here he had to go from five concerts to nine because they sold out way too fast and thousands of people still wanted to see him. I don't know about the record though, Pink has probably taken that away from him because she was here for four months touring with dozens of concerts. Had Robbie done more concerts though they surely would have sold out.
September 21, 200915 yr On myspace there was something about some 'special announcement on Chris Moyles tomorrow (well later on today as it's after 12am now  ) :o  Unfortunately it's gonna happen it seems :( Imo Robbie is just too good for them now! He's moved onto something much more interesting now meanwhile Take That are forever gonna be stuck doing the same thing until the public are sick of them!

Well on the flip side I can see it from Robbie's POV. If he does it now, then it's done and people can stop asking for it to happen and he can move and focus on his music. He should just get it done as quickly as possible. Like ripping off a bandaid.
September 22, 200915 yr On myspace there was something about some 'special announcement on Chris Moyles tomorrow (well later on today as it's after 12am now  ) :o  Robbie is headlining BBC's annual Proms gig. That has previously been headlined by Oasis, Paul McCartney.
September 22, 200915 yr Take That are still together  I mean I knew they rejoined a few years back but I didn't think they were still around. You don't hear much if anything about them anymore. Here in Canada, we don't hear from them or about them ever! No one even knows who they are here. They know who Robbie is though. If you mention Rock DJ they know exactly who you're talking about-----they say-----Oh that guy who ripped his skin off lmao As far as TT's fans are concerned, Robbie has his own huge fan base and hundreds of fans will be going to the show to see only him.
