As long as the material is good, I see no reason why they won't survive. I don't think the Sugababes have a massive fanbase really otherwise C&S wouldn't have sold so poorly. They appeal to a lot of general buyers if the music is good like with About You Now. Of course it depends on how their voices mesh together but Jade is a great singer so hopefully they will sound good.

They won't die YET but they will soon.

They've been on the decline for a while now, and even without this recent farce I couldn't see them lasting at the top much longer. This will simply speed that process up.

I can't imagine the Sugababes will last too long now, Keisha has been the backbone of the group since its inception. It would have been like Beyonce being forced out of Destiny's Child; the group would really have been nothing without her.

I'm sure Amelle won't stay with the group too long either, I think she has her sights on a solo career.

No. Unless they decide to focus on the US market.

No offense to the UK, but usually the US makes up a big chunk of sales for most artists (I do know there are some exceptions). I think they will soon do well in the UK market, but as far as the US goes, since most Americans don't know who the Sugababes are to begin with, it obviously won't hurt their sales here.

About A Girl will be a hit but I don't think there'll be another album after this. I still don't understand the decision to boot out Keisha when Amelle is contracted to release a solo album next year anyway. They'll have to disband whereas they wouldn't have had to if it was Amelle who left. Ugh.
I really think that this is one "crisis" too far. They could survive people leaving of their own accord, but to survive the last remaining founding member being SACKED and all the implications that come with that for all of the girls - I don't think they're going to last longer than this album tbh.
Im really not sure. There is a very good chance of their being a backslash but yet i dont quite see it happening. TBH even if Keisha hadnt gone, id still say they'd probably split in the next 2 years. They might release another album after Sweetness but after that im not so sure.
It'll be tough for them to survive, it'll be difficult for them not to become a laughing stock. They don't really have the essence of the Sugababes anymore :P
No. I hope they won't survive anyway. Dropping Keisha was a crime. :( Mark my word.

They've been in decline since Mutcha left tbh. They no longer make interesting and inventive pop music. They've become to Girls Aloud what Atomic Kitten used to be to the Babes back in the day.

It's a shame really as they have had some massive hits and whilst 'About A Girl' will do very well and the album possibly so off the back of all the publicity, I envision a flop new album by next Christmas and then a greatest hits package to round off their 3 album deal thingie. That's if they don't change line up again before then obviously.

Short term i think they will survive but i think thi stime next year we cud see the end of the sugababes brand.
