Posted September 24, 200915 yr BBC Radio 1 have removed "Celebration" from their Playlist. :huh: The Playlist is compiled every Wednesday and is where daytime DJs select songs to play during their shows from. It is made of four separate lists (A, B C and Upfront) and Madonna has a history of singles being added very quickly to the A List after their radio release. This didn't happen for "Celebration", which moved up very slowly and never managed to get into the A list, and consequently suffered in its first week of sales when failed to become Madonna's 14th #1 single. But we can't say programmers were just as slow to pull the plug because today, on the second week of commercial release, "Celebration" is nowhere to be seen on any of the Radio1 lists. I ask why???? Its a Top 3 hit and dropped already TOTALLY of the Radio 1 playlist. Whats going on...... :angry:

September 29, 200915 yr Erm..becuase its already been relesead. Already relesead songs are removed to make way for new music which is in more need of more support. Simple :)

Simple :) Hardly, they play atleast 5 different take that tracks a day, broken strings and jh's spotlight get daily play. They only just added bep's igaf to the playlist. Lol

Besides they are different listings as different subjects, is this not a Madonna forum for different subjects for opions & views from people??? So i have posted different posts one about radio one dropping the single, the other about the album sales for its first & now recent second week sales. To me thats three different subjects to either respond to or not :wacko: So go back under ya stone & make more constructive comments about the topic/sunject posted :angry: .

Lol I Got A Feeling has not just been added. Their next one - Meet Me Halfway has just been added. I dont see why this is being made an issue of. Celebration has been relesead and will now fall down the chart. Therefore it makes sense to be removed. If there was still weeks to go until its main release id see your point. LOL, they do not play 5 Take That songs a day. So you want them to play Celebration and you critize them for playing other already relesead songs?

October 2, 200915 yr Author I heard Celebration on local Radio this afternoon yay i still think its a good song & deserves better, maybe thats why its not plumiting down the charts like everyone predicted it would do Its slowly slipping but hanging on in there, you show em Madge Have you seen the Letterman interview she looked good & gave a good interview from what seen. :dance:
