Believe Again is so beautiful. *plays on iTunes*

I'm waiting for 10 contests of Numayania first :kink:

Believe Again defines the overused word EPIC to be honest, Disney should pick it up and use it for one of their films, it's so grand sounding...17th place is not what I had in mind :kink: still, a record 12 weeks at #1 in my chart suggests that I didn't care anyway! the song epitomises the final year of uni for me

maybe, although their constant levels of amazing must be recognised

True, true it should be recognised. I LOVE Never Be Good.

It really really does. Believe Again is just too amazing for the word Epic. It reminds me of just before i left Brisbane when me an Tamara had it blasting on the way back from Australia Zoo, a few short days before i left for home :snif:  *wipes tear from eye*

How random, Boys & Girls just came on Shuffle! :w00t: the gooddemo version too :magic:

Awesome :kink:

Oh yes, kick started the controversial rates and lead to me attaining a 10% warning again

Ooh, what a contest eh? Always a classic in Quotosibb.

Shame song of the year...heck, song of EVER could only manage 10th place. My top three (Keri/Royksopp/Boots) all went top 10, which was good, but some of my other faves (SEB/BoA/Chew Lips/LC!/Cassie) underperformed a little. Personally I think "Everything Falls Into Place" is one of Sophie's best songs and better than some of her previous entries at least.

I was really pleased with the final position of my entry, I think it might be contender for one of the least liked 'hits' in the contest. It was headed to be one of the worst host entries, but it got a random bunch of 12s to give it a boost. A massive 48/84 of it's points were from people awarding it full points. I'm proud of it for finishing so high (it definitely wouldn't have made it through semis) but it's hard to feel proud of how it did when it seems that it's position gives a false impression of how many liked it.

Anyway, carrying on the trend of rating our own XI-XX entries:

01. Little Boots - Stuck On Repeat (stunning track, just takes you to another place)

02. Brandy - Afrodisiac (not one of my greatest as a BJSC entry, but amazing nonetheless)

03. M$ney - Future (I feel all Kanye over this, one of my best entries EVER, it's flop does not compute)

04. A.R. Rahman ft. M.I.A. – O… Saya (another entry that just takes you somewhere, epic doesn't cover it)

05. David Guetta & Estelle - One Love (Estelle is a favourite artist of mine, out of her comfort zone, amazing)

06. David Guetta & Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over (Electro Radio Edit) (a bit of a shameful one, but one of the year's best)

07. Robyn - Dream On (seems so long ago now! such warm track, makes me all happy)

08. Tegan & Sara - Back In Your Head (took so long for me to enter, didn't go down great, still love it though)

09. September - Can't Get Over (omg cheap etc. this track grabs you in a big way, September is a Scandi-fave of mine)

10. Video Villain - Paranoia (will probably remain my least cheap entry forever, still love it, but so anti-BJSC)

May as well do mineee! From XI-XX

Ooh yayy, shared #1. It really is brilliant. Poor Video Villain. :(

And mine of yours:

01. Santigold: Say Aha - amazing basically, got her somewhere I couldn't, top 10. :drama:

02. The Count and Sinden Feat. Rye Rye: Hardcore Girls - WTFDNQ?! AMAZING EPIC ETC.

03. Wynter Gordon: Renegade - move on, groove on etc. fabulous.

04. Royksopp: Happy Up Here - grew on me TONS after the contest, didn't like the almost-instrumentalness

05. Jennifer Lopez: What Is Love? - BaNG? J'Lo? unexpected, but an ace song. wrong semi etc. etc.

06. BoA: Eat You Up - yum.

07. Justice Feat. Uffie: Tthhee Ppaarrttyy - was the previous winner without the hook. weirdly, it really appealed to me though.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

08. Crystal Castles: Vanished - can hardly remember this one. :(

09. EliZe: Can't You Feel It - just no. can't believe you sent this.

01 Cobra Starship; Leighton Meester - Good Girls Go Bad [04th]

15 Ke$ha - Backstabber [DNQ]

I'll do yours too Jack, seeing as you're surprisingly high in my voting history!

Little Jackie - The World Should Revolve Around Me (amazing, I gave it my 12!)

Jessica Mauboy - Running Back (very decent song, I absolutely love this)

VV Brown - Crying Blood (remember being really impressed by this at the time and thinking it might win)

Paloma Faith - Stone Cold Sober (shock DNQ, classy song)

Kid Sister - Right Hand Hi (has really grown on me actually :D)

Cassie Davis - Do It Again (kicked in on about the 8th listen  good, but didn't give it points)

Solange - Sandcastle Disco (got boring quickly but a decent song)

Cobra Starship; Leighton Meester - Good Girls Go Bad (not a personal favourite, but a decent entry and a good song for its genre)

Jessie Malakouti - Trash Me (pretty good)

------------------------------------------

Jazmine Sullivan - Dream Big (nice at the time, but got boring quickly)

Black Eyed Peas - Missing You (one of my least favourite tracks on The E.N.D., still good though)

Paul Oakenfold; Brittany Murphy - Faster Kill Pussycat (good but I'm long over this)

Danity Kane - Bad Girl (didn't like this much)

Ke$ha - Backstabber (not good at all really)

I have to do yours of course, as you often just miss out on Rontvian points;

Robyn - Dream On (musical perfection)

David Guetta & Estelle - One Love (excellent song, a bit too subtle perhaps thanks to Estelle's vocals...if somebody louder and more brash was singing it, it would probably be a 'hands in the air' peace anthem)

M$ney - Future (underrated, I should have given it more than 1 point)

David Guetta & Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over (Electro Radio Edit) (hardly a brilliant entry in theory but the electro edit was fantastic and I wouldn't have heard it had you not sent it, as I've not heard it anywhere outside of BJSC to this day)

Little Boots - Stuck On Repeat (not my favourite from Boots but a very good song nonetheless)

--------------------------------------------------

September - Can't Get Over (I expect I gave it points but this is one of my least favourite September songs)

Tegan & Sara - Back In Your Head (also almost got points, I thought this was quite decent)

A.R. Rahman ft. M.I.A. – O… Saya (almost got points, now I'm over Slumdog though, I'm over this song too )

Video Villain - Paranoia (I liked it more than I expected to)

Brandy - Afrodisiac (never a favourite of mine and still seemed only just above average)

unless I'm mistaken, I definitely gave points to 5/10 so this myth that I never vote for you is completely false :heehee:
