I expect it to climb again next week after the Xmas stuff is out of the way.

It was doing so well on iTunes last week but has been stuck between #22 - #26 for days now. :(

Whooop! 30k, very decent. Slightly embarrasing its sold 75% of what the albums sold but lets ignore that :P

(Stupid Cut Down Version of) Ego / I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday @ GMTV

*cough* bad miming from una on the 2nd chorus of ego and from everyone on the 2nd song :P *cough*

Shame they're back to their fake 'live' versions like they did with Up and Just Can't Get Enough.

O dear, no no no.

Why are they pre-reccording live vocals for their promotion? They prooved they CAN sing live, so why the hell are they miming? Didn't like the cut down arrangement either - they're meant to be promoting their new single not a Christmas record their not even gonna release!

I'm not quite shore if that was a pre-recorded performance or not now *confused face*. The 'Ego' performance was deffinately pre-reccorded as the set was slightly different when it jumped into their Christmas track. But the fact the presentors talked to them after the performance, i'm not sure. But they sould be a on 3 week break anyway, so it must of been pre-reccorded.

'Ego' is up to #21 on iTunes though :)

GMTV helped I see then as did the end of the weekend. What im trying to say is Ego is back to #18 on I-Tunes. WHOOO.

'Ego'

Amazon - #7

iTunes -#15

HMV- #30

Play - #33

Tesco - #40

Midweeks - #29

Radio 1 - A List

Further update.. #17 on iTunes now :D

If it should stay around the #20 mark on iTunes all week we could be looking a higher position than #30 in the singles chart on Sunday!

At least the GMTV promo helped it a bit, and hopefully Alan Carr performance will push it into the #13 - #15 mark. :D

Isn't their only like 3 Xmas songs ahead of it?

The Pogues and Mariah, they'll drop this week. Plus so will Leona's SCYHO which was at #29. N-Dubz and Pixie will fall as well. Plus the XF effect will wear off and I suspect JLS/Alexandra (EIL and BB) and Journey will all drop behind 'Ego' as well.

Can't see any major new entries breaking the top 30 at all considering the Sugababes are downloads only and Cheryl has already reached #7 on downloads.

Only 'Broken Heels' is a certainty for top 20.

If you think about everything, 'Ego' could easily be early to mid 20's this week, especially if it stays in the top 20 on iTunes.

Mid 20's? Be ambitious. This could definatly be well into top 20 by Sunday if things continue :P
When they're on Alan Carr and Ant & Dec that'll get them Top 15 on iTunes for shore. If it dosen't, there is something wrong with the world.

They're not even pre-recorded live vocals. They're the studio version vocals just made louder and clearer to give the effect they are live.

New peak right? Only got to #17 last time I think...anyway, brilliant!

New peak of #15 on iTunes :D

And a midweek of #29!

just a bit of a digital download roundup/update, not much movement anywhere, apart from iTunes, which has climbed to a new peak!

They will be able to do promotion the week after release so i'm hoping that they will do and that they hope it'll do an Issues and climb in the second week.
