Ah, mistaken a 6 for an 8. 185k is good, should do about 12k this week I imagine
I think if both Ego and Forever Is Over were released before the album it would have more than likely had stronger first week sales, whether or not it would have kept selling well over time is unknown.
#22 in the midweeks. But down to #29 on iTunes.

The physicals are definately saving it. :)

It's not the physicals either, it's just it had a higher position on iTunes untill yesturday.

It was about #23 on Sunday untill mid-day yesturday when it fell to the bottom 20's, so the midweek position for Ego will drop throughout the week. Possibly as low as #26.

It's not just the physicals that are saving it - it is the single mix as well. Although I guess that will start having less of an efective now it is at like 100
ITs having a nice steady chart run which indicates it has a wide enough appeal which is good, and i think it will stay top 75 for quite a few weeks yet also.
that should indicate a fairly safe top 25 position come sunday and add a further 10,- 12,000 sales to its total.
Ego has been played on my local radio station loads. I've heard it about 3 times a day. Its a pity this wasnt the first single release from the album.

I'm amazed how well 'Ego' has done in the UK & Ireland..

I honestly thought it would flop.

Shame it didn't boost the album.

Number 24 in the UK this week so still holding up well, for me ego is probably my faveourite song from them as im not what id say a regular saturdays fan so im glad ego has done well for them.

All sales updated, in the sales thread.

Thanks to RyanJL for sharing sales info. :)
