Ok so Madonna may have bagged the No1 album last week  BUT with the release of the dvd today can sales of the album continue or will Muse or Streisand take the crown from her :( ?????

I think she will just hold on this week but will be interesting to see the first day sales tomorrow, then we will have more of an idea what people buying. The dvd has naturally more appealing tracks, but will dvd sales reflect on the albums sales this week?

Hopefully she can hang on for a second week. Are there any major new releases this week?

I'm not that fussed if it doesn't but It went to the top anyway!. Will be interesting tomorrow's mids. Her sales will drop as most fans would have got it I think.

Hmmm shes catching up now come on Madge

No1. Paramore 31.148k

No2 Madonna 24.423k

No3. Newton Faulkner 15.224k

She sold over a 1000 more copies than Paramore yesterday.
She sold over a 1000 more copies than Paramore yesterday.

She may keep the #1 on sunday then.

It's going to be a tight one. Most of Paramore's fans will be purchasing on Saturday. Still good week of sales for Madona.

I'm not sure, most of there fans are of school age so I would guess Saturday would be there shopping day, Mondays sales would have included presales. But then Madonna's fan base is so varied that she could be consistant enough during the week to pull it back.

I have to say I'm still content with the sales of Celebration. Much better than Hard Candy's second week sales were.

Hard Candy dropped from 94.655 to 29.667

Though I'm not really happy that a band like Paramore can beat her, i wouldn't mind if it would be a more important band or artist rather than a "teenager" band

Paramore had a song on Twilight so have built up a big following for this album.

She sold more than them again yesterday. She is currently 6.3k behind.
