Will be interesting to see the positions after Robbie has performed - I'm surprised Alex has got to number 1 so quickly and thats even before the X-Factor performance.

I think Robbie's sales will last throughout the week, however I can see Alex's single being a bit frontloaded - probably wrong, but I can just see Robbie's opulation gorwing after the performance.

I dont see that happening myself! If anyone sales will die off by the end of the week's it's Robbie's, airplay and video play already falling! Alex has loads of promo, people will hear how well it's doing and that it's out..bang, sales!

Has Alex performed bad boys anywhere.

not yet, X Factor is the first big one - and from what I've heard its going to be quite stunning!

Itll be interesting to see how Robbie does after tonight.

Having them both perform is going to be very interesting!

I agree with that. I think those jumping for joy that Alex is going to be an easy number 1 may be in for a surprise a week from today. I'm not too keen on either song ... although thanks to the radio being on at work most days ... I'm starting to appreciate Alex's as a fairly decent, light-weight pop song - and I find myself singing bits from it even when its not on. Having said that, despite lazy vocals and rather pretentious lyrics ... I can's fault the production on Robbie's single - it sounds 'expensive'. Alex's to me still sounds a little, whilst not cheap - perhaps a bit 'inexpensive'. I'd say Rob'll be number 1 next week I said it weeks ago and I'll stand by it.

I disagree, he has no chance...hold me to it!

She's miles ahead already, performing to her own fanbase will help her even more that Robbie! He sales won't hold up, cos even commercial radio are growing tired of it!

Next week will be an interesting battle Alex vs. Cheryl!

Nah. Depending on the sales, this could stay in the Top10 for a while.

And Robbie don't need a #1 in the UK. He's already got #1's in several other countries. I dont think he will get to #1 next week. Chery's single will!

so she's got to #1 with no performances??! :o

Of course...not even my girl Leona has done that! :cheer:

I think it will be X Factor at #1 for a while. This week, Alexandra should get it, for the next few weeks Cheryl, and then Leona.
I wonder how high BEP will be after tonight.

You see, im not sure Cheryl will hold up for a 2nd week, it will be another battle!

You're forgetting JLS on Nov 2nd! <_< Who will be on XFactor!

I know... Leona is fantastic but this is incredible! wow.

im over the moon! The perfoormance will DEFINETLY boost her sales. I GOTTA FEELING, TAHT TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT...!
Good grief :o Alexandra Burke #1 already, Robbie will end up very close as well by tonight

Has Hallelujah entered the charts tonight?

Justin Timberlake and Leona Lewis have both entered the charts again after X-Factor performance.

Robbie #6 and #19

Michael #14

Lostprophets #49

Mr Hudson #73

Gracious K #94 :w00t:

I have just downloaded the new iTunes... how do I get popularity bars?

I'm not so sure Cheryl will make #1 to be honest on the back of Alexandra, if Alexandra's sales are high next week, it be difficult to topple Alexandra, just on an X Factor performance, not everyone will get a #1 track from performing on the X Factor show.

You can't really predict Cheryl to be the next #1 until the sales are in.

Alexandra could easily be on 45k plus on Tuesdays mids, since Sun/Mon sales are usually high on the first mid update.
