October 5, 200915 yr honestly, this is what i think: 9th Nov: Leona Lewis- Happy- Number 1 until X factor winners song. XF sales are too front-loaded to stay at the top that long, especially given that overall sales are much higher than when she had BL at #1 for 7 weeks. After all, if she couldn't even keep her cover of SP's brilliant 'Run' for #1 longer than 2 weeks...
October 5, 200915 yr 5th October Chipmunk 12th October Alexandra Burke 19th October Cheryl Cole (or Young Soul Rebels) 26th October Cheryl Cole 2nd November JLS (or Cheryl Cole) 9th November Leona Lewis 16th November Leona Lewis 23rd November Leona Lewis 30th November Lady Gaga (or anyone else releasing) 7th December Ke$ha I think Miley, Britney, Tinchy, Pixie, Robbie and Jay Sean will have big hits also. If MJ releases, I can't see it budging from the top for at least three weeks. Edited October 5, 200915 yr by Guru
October 5, 200915 yr I'm not predicting the exact weeks, but all of the following have at least a *chance* of getting #1 for at least one week: Chipmunk ft. Dayo Olatunji - Oopsy Daisy Alexandra Burke ft. Flo Rida - Bad Boys Robbie Williams - Bodies Michael Jackson - This Is It (if released) Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne - Down Young Soul Rebels - I Got Soul JLS - Everybody In Love Leona Lewis - Happy Lady GaGa - Bad Romance X Factor winner - Winner's song

After all, if she couldn't even keep her cover of SP's brilliant 'Run' for #1 longer than 2 weeks... I don't think it will be number 1 anywhere near till Xmas but you underestimate Bleeding Love which was selling 110k in its 3rd week at the top and 60k in its 5th week, enough to top many recent charts despite sales being much higher overall now than 2 years ago. Also Run was only knocked off the top by the XF winner's song. . Incredibly strong sales.
October 6, 200915 yr Is The GaGa a new song? I think Oct 5th 01 Chipmunk 75,0000 02 The Saturdays 45,000 03 Jay Z/Alicia Keys 38,000 Oct 12 01 Alexandra Burke 175,000 02 Robbie 110,000 03 Chipmunk 60,000 08 Miley Cyrus Oct 19 01 Alexandra Burke 95,000 02 Cheryl Cole 80,000 03 Robbie 45,000 Oct 26 01 Cheryl Cole 60,000 02 Alexandra Burke 40,000 03 Jay Sean 35,000 Nov 02 01 JLS 65,000 02 Cheryl Cole 45,000 03 Jay Sean 30,000 04 Tinchy Stryder 28,000 Nov 09 01 Leona Lewis 190,000 02 Sugababes 60,000 03 JLS 55,000 04 StereoPhonics 40,000 Nov 16 01 Leona Lewis 130,000 02 Britney 80,000 03 Alesha Dixon 65,000

October 6, 200915 yr 5th October Chipmunk - Oopsy Daisy 12th October Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys 19th October Cheryl Cole - Fight For This Love 26th October Jay Sean - Down 2nd November JLS - Everybody In Love 9th November Leona Lewis - Happy 16th November Leona Lewis - Happy 23rd November Lady Gaga - Bad Romance I wonder whether X Factor will release another charity single this year as 'Hero' did so well.
October 6, 200915 yr 01 Alexandra Burke 175,000 01 Alexandra Burke 95,000 01 Leona Lewis 190,000 01 Leona Lewis 130,000 02 Britney 80,000 03 Alesha Dixon 65,000 I'm really not sure sales will be that high for those artists! Alexandra has a very small chance of breaking 150k in her first week. Maybe Leona's first week will near 200k, but I can't see her keeping it up! Britney is going to have to do some serious promo to sell 80k, and there is no way Alesha will sell 65k! Shame...
October 6, 200915 yr I think people are really expecting Leona to do more than what she will. Lets face it 'Happy' is no 'Bleeding Love'. I have no doubt it will be number one but think it'll probably do 110k first week and about 60k second week. Also no way is Britney gonna sell 80k first week unless there is some serious promo done!! If 'Womanizer' couldnt with a performance on X Factor then i dont think this can either...
October 6, 200915 yr I dont think Robbie, Cheryl or Leona will get to no.1. Burke is probably a safe bet for no.1, and x factor 09 winner, and anything with a rap in it will obviously get to no.1. It would be nice to have something different at no.1..
October 6, 200915 yr I think Oct 5th 01 Chipmunk 75,0000 Wow!! You think?? Three quarters of a million in a week!! Why, that would almost be Will Young esque. He must be the most popular woodland creature EVA..
