I haven't checked the OZ and NZ dates, but, if there's any scheduled for Christchurch, NZ, they might have to reschedule those datse, since, a 7.4 magnitude quake hit there earlier today.....some areas are heavily damaged, with 75% of the city without power, and, water, sewer cut to many areas....

One of my best friends lives in NZ. I texted her to make sure she was ok. She'd slept through the whole thing and didn't have a clue what I was talking about. :lol:

Well, water and power have been pretty much restored as of now.....the clean up is just beginning.....I know someone who's attending Canterbury University in Christchurch.....the library is a mess, and won't re-open till maybe November....

 

This gal I know, who's the uni student, is studying for her masters in ecology....

My cousin lives in New Zealand, fortunately as I discovered she lives in another town though on the same island. I am a bit hazy as she travels a lot. Until this occurred, my brother thought she was still in Australia. :lol:

My friend informed me last night that her office sits slap bang on top of the fault line. Further up the country from Christchurch but the same fault line. I think I'd be looking for a new job :blink:

I'd be bolting stuff to the floor and walls......and I'd be using bed-sized seatbelts to strap in....

I downloaded Brandon Flowers new album in the week, got it for £4, its nearly doubled in

price now :)

Is it any good? I considered buying it but my CD mega sized storage unit (holds 600 CDs) x 2 are full. :(
