My snow has turned to hard packed ice now. A snowball fight would be deadly I think :lol:

Snowball fights? I have never been in one. I was walking to the bus stop last week when I saw three kids throwing snowballs at passing cars. Could have caused an accident, but fortunately not.

I was born and raised in Bermuda, no snow there. When we moved here, I was a bit on the mature side to be involved with snow fights. :P Plus I never went out in it unless it was absolutely necessary.

Oh well. I guess there wasn't much opporchancity for snowball fights in Bermuda! :lol:

 

 

Anyway, I was telling Sparkle earlier. My lovely new furry snow boots got delivered today. So you can bet your house on a rapid thaw starting tomorrow :lol:

I was just thinking of texting my brother earlier and he rang. He and I must have a sibling radar or something. :lol:

Oh that happens all the time with me. I get an idea that the phone is going to ring and it does. Or I think 'I must phone so and so' and they phone me 5 minutes later.

Another one I recall was that we hadn't seen a neighbour of ours for a while and the very day I was thinking that he came round with a harvest of cooking apples from his garden. :blink:

Yeah Flatty. The main roads are reasonably ok now. The back roads are still very icy though. You are driving along and then you just feel the back end of the car falling away. Pretty scary. :wacko:

Well, the big thaw has arrived. And everyone seems to have burst pipes (not me yet, touch wood).

 

3 houses in my street now have collapsed ceilings and water everywhere. :o

There is a path in the village flooded and out of use and that is the only problem that I am aware of.

We have no more snow :cheer: it's so nice to see green again in the garden.........

that's if you can see through the fog that is!

 

Hope everyone had a good Christmas, I've eaten sooooooooo much food over

the last few days, diet will be in need :(
