I know someone who lives round Glasgow.....she had a grand time with the winds, too, Jups....not....she mentioned a couple of deaths reported due to the weather....as well as a coastal train being well, washed by the sea...

Yes, it was rather breezy. The storm we had in May was much worse though.

Hiya :cheer: I'm back from lovely sunny Spain ...30 degrees plus everyday :drink: I never ate as much rubbish & had no excercise & seem to have lost weight  ...must be all trhe sweating from the heat or else the change of diet as in chips & more chips & beer & martini cocktails :P ...i think I will give up going to the gym

I am off again to catch up with my brother who is home from Aussie ( we beat them today in the rugby :cheer: ) so will see you guys sometime next week

30 degs plus, I'm sooooooooooo envious B-)

Welcome back Tess, glad you had a good time.

I like my temperatures to be in the high 70s. Any hotter than that I struggle to complete my triathlons. -_-

Then Florida would not be the place for you, Jups....seemingly 8+ months of temps 30+ C (80's and 90's F) would melt you into a puddle, especially factoring in a humidex of 40+ C.....

I, on the other hand, would love love LOVE temps in the teens C..... :yahoo:

Strangely enough, I quite like humid weather. It always makes me think of the Deep South and mint julips. Not that I've tried a mint julip in my puff....

I'm off now. Night Night.

PS, very funny e-mail Sparkle

xxx

Have you tried a mint julip Biggie? What exactly is in it?
Oh it's julep. I thought it was julip. Like tulip.
What's the difference between bourbon and scotch?
