I was born 60 miles south of Chicago, Illinois, and at age 9, moved to 50 miles north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.......so, I have fond memories of snow.....

Yes, it can be quite snowy in Chicago.....especially since it's right on Lake Michigan......although, it's kinda rare to get lake effect snows.....

I made porridge in my microwave last week. Now every time I microwave my bear hot water bottle it emits a horrible stink of porridge. Glad I wasn't microwaving kippers :blink:
