:o did Delta actually plan to put this on an album or was it just a demo intended for somebody else?

similarly, I recall the American Idol finalists performing Together We Are One once although it's not on youtube

I love Shine :arrr: Asda play annoying adverts on loop too but you come to zone it out...anyway, I work on the Music & Video section so get to choose what I play when I'm on the desk - usually I play BJSC songs :kink: or Delta :w00t:

i didn't mind Shine until i started working for Morrisons. Now i really hate it.

Our ads are different every two weeks or so and i only have a small contract so i don't zone out yet :(

Lucky you! You've had a Rontvia marathon, have you ever had an Ashton marathon?

Of course Delta got played :kink: I think i might put the DVD on, just for Predictable.

I switch off the Morrisons advert whenever I see it so I don't hear it!

I haven't had an Ashton marathon but I have played countless Ashton entries, just Monday IN2U came on on the BJSC shuffle playlist!

did you manage to see #78 in my top 100 of the decade yet? :kink:

I might put the DVD back on too, for Do You Love Me :P

Lol i don't have a choice, i hear it like 5times a shift minimum. :(

:cheer: IN2Us flop was so undeserving.

Not yet *runs to check* :w00t: Electric Storm

oh god :drama: i try to forget she ever did that

IN2U was very strong but got caught up in a strong contest, I reckon it would have come top ten had you sent it a few months earlier

Electric Storm is such a classic  there are more tracks from Mistaken Identity still to come though

It really suffered from 11th place syndrome. :(

:cheer: Mistaken identity is lush, not sure which Delta album i love the most.

it didn't come 11th place in my votes! but I would have given it more points in a weaker contest but I loved so much in XIX  reminds me of me doing my voting in a tacky internet cafe in Wales

I will countdown my top 50 albums of the decade too this month at some point, all 3 Delta albums feature of course although one is significantly lower than the other two...

Some Christmas Delta treats from her Opera House concert:

Breathe In, Breathe Out

All I Want For Christmas Is You :D

Delta's Innocent Eyes is Australia's highest selling album of the last decade! :cheer:

Mistaken Identity is also on the list at #64.

In the top 100 singles, 'Born To Try' is at #19, 'Predictable' at #43 and 'Lost Without You' at #69.

I'm also excited that Delta's writing with Vince Pizzinga again for the next album.

amazing :cheer: although I half expected it after the 30+ weeks it spent at #1 :heehee:

was my favourite album of the noughties too :D I had no idea Predictable had sold so well there, being the fifth single it's rather shocking :o

Missy Higgins in the top 5 too! amazing taste they have there

Days Go By was Glenn Lyse's winner's song from Norwegian Idol 2007.

quite entertaining ^_^

thanks

Apart from "The Special Two", Missy Higgins is boring as hell.

:( I loved The Sound of White, it was the soundtrack to my life throughout early 2005 - I referenced the lyrics of The Special Two in my Communication Studies A Level exam! On A Clear Night was less good but I still really liked it

it's on iTunes, physically I can't see it at all, it's two and a half years old now - I just hope she releases her next album here properly, with a promo campaign and singles

I hope so.

It's a real shame the 'Delta' era will never get a chance in the UK, her label should spend time over than in the US where there's not really been brilliant results.
