What's bad is that if it doesn't make the Top 75, it will be one of those "follow-up to #1s" that didn't reach it...

this would never have happened in the physical singles era.....

almost all the follow ups to a number 1 hits managed to become hits in their own right back then...

I've only just realised Chipmunk is ahead of Rob. Is this down to the 'missing data' malarky?

The Alex album has leaked today to the net, someone is already listened to it and have something to say? tnx...

PS - jay sean deserved the number 1 spot.

I love the new Alex album, it's very catchy. :) Very high quality production.

Nope. That only affects the midweeks. I guess it's the beginnings of weekend effect...

I'm old! What do you mean 'weekend effect' surely a newer song's sales should be increasing more than a slightly older one.

Norma

Weekend, is when people here songs which are more likely to be played in clubs/pubs.

'Oopsy Daisy' is more likely than 'Bodies'

am I the only one thinking Cheryl will be #1 for 2 weeks blocking Jay Sean?

a remix of her tune is already #1 on Ireland I-Tunes

Cheryl will be #1, and Jay Sean is a big contender for #1 (but may be blocked by Cheryl or sadly Westlife)

Erm ya they do.

British male who just topped US charts. A lot of people care actually. :)

If Jay doesn't get #1 here, is that the first time since the Beatles a British artist's song has reached #1 in the USA but not the UK?

Looking at Irish itunes it looks like Cheryl will get #1 here.

I wasn't so sure with Alexandra's big lead. I much prefer Alexandra's Song though :kink:.
