I'd say it was pretty close to 5 tbh.

He got his book signed an hour after me I think, and it was approx 6 1/2 hours from when I arrived to when I got to the desk.

OMG. That's really terrible news. :(

What a f***ingly sick a 'person' should be to do such things with Leona who is probably one of the most kindest and sweetest music figures i've ever seen.

Well according to The Sun ( ) the guy who hit her was a reject from X-Factor.

If, however it IS true, then how bitter and jealous can one really get?

It was quotes from his mother and father and reported elsewhere so I guess they said it to a few.

Very sad. Why not take it out on one of the flop winners :drama:

Leona: 'Attack could have been worse'

Leona Lewis has spoken out for the first time after being attacked at a book signing in London earlier this month.

The singer, who received medical attention for minor injuries following the incident, insisted that it was a by-product of being famous and she had overcome the initial shock.

"It could have been worse," she told Sky News.

"I'm still alive, it's just something you have to deal with when you have fame and the positives far outweigh the negatives.

"I don't like to dwell on the negatives, I'm a very positive person."

The singer's attacker, 29-year-old Peter Kowalczyk, has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and is currently being examined by psychiatrists.

Earlier this week, City of Westminster magistrates were told that he was not fit to attend court to face assault charges. The case has been adjourned until November 23.

Lewis releases new single 'Happy' on November 9.
