I love this! :o

I prefer it to quite a few songs on the album (the version we've got)...

Lil Wayne  Shaki, you're so much better than that :snif:
Having listened to it though, it's not too bad :)
If this was Timbaland feat Shakira, I would probably enjoy this. But the fact that she's selling her album with this lame-o generic tosh makes me really sad.
Ditto ^ it's a good song, but so generic. It'll probably sell the album though, which is the main thing.

its typical timbaland but its a grower, us radio are embracing this already, this remix version has more energy and the chorus is now

I love this! I don't see why it wasn't on the version of the album we got. ^_^

This was originally meant for Timbaland's album.

Maybe the uk version of Shock Value II will include this and it will be released as a single here but credited as Timbaland feat. Shakira.

Great performance on Letterman:

I thought there was a bit too much standing around doing nothing whilst the backing vocals or Timbaland's verse played but it was okay. Alas the chorus has not left my head all day.

It's the first Shakira single that I haven't liked since idk when, which is a real bummer, since I find it very difficult not to love anything she does. After the magic that was "She Wolf", as well..

I managed to get past the generic-ness of it, and it's just wholly underwhelming. I hope it does well for her sake.

i know what you mean when you compare GIUTM to some of the more shakira like tracks on she wolf, this track comes across as being quite tame and generic but having said that i love what she did with the track in the live performance, she injected some of unique style like fusing cheer leading chant stepping moves with dancehall winding moves along with egyptian locking moves. the live version makes the song come alive more.
I think this performance changed my opinion of the song. Before, it never felt like a Shakira song but after that performance, she completely owned it and made it hers. I think the video is going to do that even more. The HDL video had the same effect on me.
I hate those CGI target things shooting everywhere in that preview. So tacky.

I actually love it. The dancing is just off the chart. Yeah, it looks kinda 90s at times...but that just endears me to it more.

In the interview before the video premiered she almost said, but just fell short, that Men In This Town is her favourite song on the album. SINGLE PLEASE.
