Posted October 15, 200915 yr http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/7681/giveitup2meshakiloud.jpg New Shakira & Lil Wayne song from the US version of Shaki's album 'She Wolf' due in November, just premiered on Seacrests show :) http://ryan.kiisfm.com/pages/news/shakira/
October 15, 200915 yr I love this! :o I prefer it to quite a few songs on the album (the version we've got)...
October 16, 200915 yr If this was Timbaland feat Shakira, I would probably enjoy this. But the fact that she's selling her album with this lame-o generic tosh makes me really sad.
October 18, 200915 yr Ditto ^ it's a good song, but so generic. It'll probably sell the album though, which is the main thing.
October 20, 200915 yr its typical timbaland but its a grower, us radio are embracing this already, this remix version has more energy and the chorus is now  T2GrWEt8u4k
October 23, 200915 yr This was originally meant for Timbaland's album. Maybe the uk version of Shock Value II will include this and it will be released as a single here but credited as Timbaland feat. Shakira.
November 11, 200915 yr I thought there was a bit too much standing around doing nothing whilst the backing vocals or Timbaland's verse played but it was okay. Alas the chorus has not left my head all day.
November 11, 200915 yr It's the first Shakira single that I haven't liked since idk when, which is a real bummer, since I find it very difficult not to love anything she does. After the magic that was "She Wolf", as well.. I managed to get past the generic-ness of it, and it's just wholly underwhelming. I hope it does well for her sake. November 12, 200915 yr i know what you mean when you compare GIUTM to some of the more shakira like tracks on she wolf, this track comes across as being quite tame and generic but having said that i love what she did with the track in the live performance, she injected some of unique style like fusing cheer leading chant stepping moves with dancehall winding moves along with egyptian locking moves. the live version makes the song come alive more.
November 13, 200915 yr I think this performance changed my opinion of the song. Before, it never felt like a Shakira song but after that performance, she completely owned it and made it hers. I think the video is going to do that even more. The HDL video had the same effect on me.
November 14, 200915 yr Video preview: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20319928,00.html I'm liking what I see so far. Hopefully there will be more scenes.
November 16, 200915 yr Author the video just premiered on her facebook and WOW the dancing is SICK  AMAZING
November 16, 200915 yr HQ video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2ktaFohbKQ W2ktaFohbKQ I actually love it. The dancing is just off the chart. Yeah, it looks kinda 90s at times...but that just endears me to it more. In the interview before the video premiered she almost said, but just fell short, that Men In This Town is her favourite song on the album. SINGLE PLEASE.
November 16, 200915 yr The dancing is great, but everything else looks so cheap. Especially the NY thing on the background. Disappointed.
