'Maniac' a second track with Keri Hilson and Chris Brown, which hasn't made the final cut of the album has leaked. It's alright I suppose. The production is different to those that have leaked though.

Listening to all the big names on the songs first... none of them really strike me on a first listen. I think Timbo's lost his mobomojo.

Definitely. There are some decent songs - Meet In The Middle is his freshest production in a while, and the Miley/JoJo/Katy songs are all cute - but on the whole he's gone stale. No really big hooks, just the same 'chiki chiki' midtempo grinds. Yawn.

JoJo: 9/10 (I actually hated it before but now it's growing and growing.)

Katy Perry: 8.5/10

Brandy: 8/10

Drake: 7.5/10

Nelly: 7/10

Justin: 7/10

 

The rest are complete crap.

I still think the non-Nelly version of Morning After Dark is the superior version. Nelly offers nothing to the track. She's just pasted in because Timabaland + Nelly makes people wet themselves.

I agree with the comments so far pretty much. (I've only heard up until 'Can You Feel It' so far) My definite fave though is the one with Katy Perry, 'If We Ever Meet Again'. It's the one with the most hit potential anyway. The Miley Cyrus track, although still decent, I am a little disappointed. Same with the JoJo track, but that's a grower. All the others though (bar MAD) are pretty much forgettable.

The album's really starting to grow on me. The Katy Perry, Jet, Daughtry, JoJo, Chad Kroger and The Fray(?) collabs are my favourites. I think it's because the album is so long that there has got to be a certain amount of filler on there, and it's just a case of sitting down and listening to the album a few times before you get to hear the standout songs.

 

The Katy Perry colab has got to be the next single though?

Not that great of album, in my opinion. It's all too familiar. He peaked a long time ago, in my book. "Meet In the Middle" featuring Bran' Nu is the highlight. Damn, Brandy can spit hard, LOL. After hearing all of the leaks, I wasn't expecting much so it's not a huge disappointment.

I LOVE THIS SONG NOW. Seriously, just clicked with me now randomly!

I dont think i need to say how i feel about the JoJo collab :wub: Although im still waiting for Sho' I Can to come out. AIWIE pl0x.

 

I have to admit though, the JoJo song is the only one ive bothered to listen to but i will listen to more tomorrow or the day after.

it is indeed great, the melody reminds me of Aqua's Cartoon Heroes somehow though :rofl:

just finished the album, I like the first half quite a bit but it really tails off towards the end to the point that I forgot that it was even playing by the time the (boring) Keri Hilson song came on :( my favourites were the Jojo, Justin, Katy Perry and Jet songs
