Posted October 16, 200915 yr Madonna's unparalleled Sticky & Sweet Tour is up for two important Billboard 2009 Touring Awards - Top Tour and Top Draw. The 2009 Top Tour Award goes to the top money grossing act, and Madonna is a finalist with two other acts: U2's 360 Tour and AC/DC's Black Ice Tour. The 2009 Top Draw Award goes to the top ticket selling act, and Sticky & Sweet is a finalist with the same two tours: 360 Tour and Black Ice Tour. Billboard will bestow these important music industry awards at a special reception in New York City on Thursday, November 5, 2009.
October 23, 200915 yr Author Arr but its based on grossings lol although Madonna is the highest, but U2 are continuing the tour next year aswell just like madonna did. U2 are close to Madonnas rankings on less show dates, where as madonna charged more for her shows i saw u2 here in Sheffield and was good stage wise was amazing. They could bag one award and madonna get the other thats fare i say. She deserves award for all effort she put in both tours last year and this year.

Yeah but its making it now, not sure 100% how the award works i thought it was based on general amount of tickets sold and how much made not so much on profit but how muuch the tour actually grossed????? Will see its next month the awards are dished out only few weeks to go. 1 each will be fine i'd say

November 6, 200915 yr Author Madonna's Sticky & Sweet Tour was the big winner at the sixth annual Billboard Touring Awards, taking home honors for Top Tour and Top Draw, which acknowledge the highest-grossing and highest-attended tours of the year, respectively. Madonna's manager Guy Oseary won the Top Manager award. Live Nation was awarded as Top Promoter.
