Well that was a bit...yeah...on par with Cheryl? Both were perfectly fine and rather good. Cheryls vocals were a bit dodgy and Whitney should have sung more. LMAO that her dress came apart.

My appreciation of her thanks to X-Factor this weekend has gone up by infinity.

 

Yesterday, I loved her barely concealed contempt and boredom at the mediocrity/arrogance/crapness of some of the acts in the contest, and now today a performance the simultaneously oozed world class even though she is over 15 years past her vocal peak whilst mocking some of the mime artists who have appeared on this show with her use of the microphone ..... all that and a tribute to Janet (wardrobe disaster) & Michael Jackson (out of her face on prescription drugs/alcohol?) at the same time.

Who'd have thought that the car crash bit would have been Whitney over Cheryl. Although Whitney's vocals were top notch.

 

I thought they'd have both been car crashes, I was surprised Cheryl did that much better than Whitney though. That was baaaad, no defending it I don't think.

I thought Whitney was great. I was really worried for her having seen a few youtubes of her 'return'. She was good tonight. True professional carrying on knowing her bosom's could easily fall out at any moment. And as far as mentoring ... Whitney has been the only useful one EVER!

Well they are :unsure: Watching for the first time tonight, and most of them seem pretty dreadful, with a couple of exceptions. Such a step backwards for the show as a whole.

 

Whitney's vocals were great, but she shoulda sung more of the chorus. Cheryl's routine was great, but still think her voice is too transparent to be good, and she lost the vocals in the middle. Kudos for live vocals, though - brave!

Cherly (pronounce it Shirley kids) and Whitney just provided two of the greatest TV car crashes of modern times. Fabulous! X Factor really is gold lately!

 

Cherly's vocals were utterly atrocious and that dance break at the end would have been dated in 2003. Whitney was OFF HER TITS.

Did anyone hear Dermot call them "Housemates" ? :rofl:
