I guess it could be different for other regions, but yes. It's currently being used to advertise Xbox 360 and it's usually on during every advert break on the X Factor. (sometimes more than once) I've found it pretty hard to avoid.

This is going to the only time I agree with Phil on a Girls Aloud/Cheryl Cole matter but I do find 3 Words one of the dullest songs i've heard all year. Perhaps not quite reaching the status of earrape but still.. :lol:

maybe it's just a track that you have to 'get'...it was an instant standout for me on the album, such a subtle song, and I love the dance influence - I never expected Cheryl do something so minimalist

definitely - it's so different to anything GA have ever done, and it's not generic like Fight For This Love (despite its brilliance)...it really is like nothing I've heard all year, well until I listened to Rihanna's Photographs that is :lol:

I completely disagree...I think I even prefer the album to Good Girl Gone Bad, which had 3 or 4 patchy songs on it...I love or at least like every single song on Rated R, in fact I'm blown away by the album

"Rated R" and "3 Words" really are two of the most underwhelming albums of the year. Both are full of tracks I can only say I 'like' at best. They both tried going for understated on their albums, but it only highlighted how unremarkable both of their voices are. :(

 

I don't mind the title track from Cheryl's, I like it about as much as the lead single. Oddly, the song I like most from her album is "Make Me Cry" which is still subtle, but has a slightly funky edge. She tried to put her spin on lots of different types of R&B styles, but missed on a lot of them. I was hoping Cheryl going down the R&B route would be good and not as laughable as it sounded, but it was. :(

Do I go with Tiësto again for XXIII? :o
