The music industry’s biggest movers and shakers came out in full force on Wednesday night (June 16th) for Kelly Rowland’s album listening session at New York’s Hudson Hall.

 

Hosted Universal Motown, the event was MC’ed by Oprah’s BFF Gayle King, and was attended by the likes of BET president Stephen Hill, Star Jones, Motown’s label head Syliva Rhone ( below in peach dress), Rico Love, and many other key figures in the radio, TV, and press spectrum’s.

What an original album title :rolleyes: Anyway, from Commander, Grown Ass Woman and Rose Coloured Glasses, I'm very excited for it!!!

The artist name used as the title for an album is ok for a debut album (JLS), but for the 3rd album, really? <_<

It's not okay in any situation! It's just plain lazy. -_- And after she said in the Graham Norton interview that it was untitled for so long because she wanted it to reflect what she'd been doing for this era. GEESH.

When you put it that way, it actually sounds clever BECAUSE of her imput. :)

I mean, from what I've heard so far, the music has been impressive this time around.

Can't wait for this album, i hope it's a real breakthrough for K Row!

 

On the title issue, i must admit it's rather rubbish since Ms. Kelly is essentially self-titled.

 

Grown Woman would have been nice for the album name, although that's probably more bland than Kelly Rowland.
