This thread.

Well apparently he never turned up and there was a big broohaha in the papers over the weekend with the Charity people calling him bad names and his people saying he was never booked to attend in the first place. All very strange.

Robbie Williams Denies Charity No-Show

Published Saturday, 19th December, 2009 at 2:59 PM

Robbie Williams is furious that tabloids claimed he refused to turn up for a charity concert.

Newspapers reported that the 'Bodies' star failed to attend Rio Ferdinand's London fund raiser earlier this week on Wednesday night (16th December) - but Robbie insists he was never even booked to appear.

A spokesperson for Williams has since revealed that his manager's sent legal notices to organisers of the bash to remove Robbie's name, as he had other priorities on the same day and had never agreed to perform.

His rep told The Sun: "Robbie was never, ever confirmed to play at this event. How could he be when he was recording a TV show? His management tried everything to get them to stop using his name to promote the show, even sending them daily legal notices."

it's almost like Robbies name was left on there on purpose so people would buy tickets for the event
