He did well in his season at Renault pulling that complete dog of a car onto the podium.

From what i understand Renault were after Kimi R for the 2nd seat, after they tried and failed to get him to replace Alonso, but he has now signed up for another season of Rallying.

Exactly, Kovy is a good $h!tbox racer, firstly with Renault now with Lotus but put him in a good car he is hopelessly out of his depth, he embarrassed himself against Hamilton and Button has pushed Hamilton well close this season so it shows how weak a driver Kovy is.

If Renault want to progress and become a winning team again Kovy isn't the answer IMHO

The R30 isn't exactly a brilliant car, and i can't see the R31 being a race winner from the get go. From mid season perhaps, but we've got a long way to come back from the R27 and 28 although that did have flashes of brilliance like it's two race wins. Whether the first was deserved or not, the second certainly was.

Having a driver like Hamilton or Button would be horrid for us, give them a good car and they are alright, major overrated likes but still alright. Give them a $h!t car [see Buttons past cars with the exception of the 2004 BAR Honda, although that would have only made 3rd had Trulli been able to keep the R24 on the f***ing track]

I think that Alonso is a far better driver behind the wheel of the Renault. We have never really been the fastest car on the grid and Alonso made it look like we had miles of room between us in McMerc/Ferrari.

I think Kovy would do well back at Renault. Just as long as we don't get Trulli back, and as much as i love Fisichella he's had plenty of chances to shine in the R25 and R26 and did $h!t all

Even more reasons for me to hate Vettel.

Racing accident, stupid that he was penalised, looked like Button moved in towards Vettel, I am sure a championship contender would not take out a rival knowing his own race would be screwed

But certainly the lord has decided I am to have the sporting weekend from hell, on the Saturday my deadly enemies sneak a 2-1 away win, my own team lose at home to a team that conceded 10 in 2 games and were missing their best player and now Hamilton lucks his way into a win with all his championship rivals having troubles

Yeah I know it was an accident but still gives me a reason but yay he's got a puncture :D.

I am just waiting for a goat to run across the track into the path of Webber's car or something now :(

Hamilton has had the luck of his life today

Alonso being rammed off, Button and Vettel having troubles, that is 3 of Hamilton's 4 rivals for the title not scoring points today :/

I'd rather Hamilton than Vettel and Alonso but i'd prefer Webber and Button to do well.

For me too. Can't stand that ''babyface''.

Very good race, well worth the four week wait! :D

Shocking qualy for Massa, I reckon he'd've been able to get on the front two rows (probably third?), can't believe Alonso got ANOTHER pole :drama:.
