First off congradulations to eastenders as it was the most watched show on christmas day with an average of 10.9 million and a peak audience of 11.9 million, it was also the most watched show on christmas eve aswell so once again it shows what a tradition eastenders now is for christmas.

I enjoyed the episode for x mas day, it wasnt the best christmas they have ever done but enjoyable at the same time, i am convinced bradley short term will get blamed but Jack i think is the one that did it but only time will tell.

I didnt expect sam back but i was so happy ricky and bianca got back together and not even Sam could stop it.

Im looking ofrward to the next few epsiodes as there is still alot of action to come.

i now think that either sam or jack did it..

sam because she left dot's house when she had no reason to. she had no one to visit other than archie.. plus peggy and sam both leave next year so i bet peggy takes the blame for sam cos she's clearly her favourite and then sam will just flee the country again.

and jack because he was asking ronnie all those questions like 'what were archies last words?' wich means he wanted to know wether or not he'd mentioned that it was jack and he didn't even seem shocked when he was told about him dieing. also, that little package he hid was probably the gloves he used to push the statue thing.

though another thing that confused me was why phil had changed his shirt? he either did it and got blood on it or shirley just made him change it and have a shower cos he smelt of booze. but then why would phil get as far as the barrell room in the vic and then just try and kill him? and then the same goes for janine. why did she have that screwdriver thing ready and just not use it?

i don't think bradley did it cos he couldnt even punch him properly so there no way he'd be able to kill him. peggy was too shocked to have killed him and genuinely still loved him and ian just wanted that laptop.

Maybe Stacey killed him? :o

So I guess we can rule Peggy out then...

I'd say its between Phil, Jack, Sam, Bradley and Ronnie from what we've seen. You could add Janine I suppose, but I really dont think it could have been her. Ronnie is perhaps a little bit too obvious at this point, thought maybe there making her too obvious so that we dont think its her or something along those lines. Where else could Sam have gone to be honest other to the Vic to do the dead, Phil we didnt actually see in the seconds leading up to the murder, I dont believe Jack's motive is strong enough to kill him though we knows, he was asking a lot of questions to Ronnie about what Archie said fearing he could reveal Jack as the murdere unless Ronnie lied about him saying anything because she killed him...

My money is on Ben Mitchell!

yep, knowing knobenders theyll go for the most shocking, but ultimately unrealistic, option

Look, fair enough that you want to vent at how unrealistic it can be sometimes but this 'knobenders' shit is really fucking childish. I hope one of the mods raises your warning if you keep coming in here bandying around things like that in the hope of causing a bit of controversy.

You are aware by replying to him you are feeding him yeh?

I'm pretty convinced it was Sam tbh, not only because she left the house but because she seemed adament to prove she was a 'real Mitchell' and wanted to make everything up to everyone..

But Sam will be off our screens long before the reveal in February and she isn't coming back. Why would the murderer be somebody who won't be around for that episode?

I'm thinking its Sam or Jack. but I dunno

is Roxy a suspect?

Everyone in the square is a suspect, but she's not a main suspect I don't think.

I've changed my mind- I am 99% sure it was Bradley.

Roxy was in the house with Amy, we were lead to believe. Unless it was seriously bad editing and were suppose to think of her as a suspect.
