Look, fair enough that you want to vent at how unrealistic it can be sometimes but this 'knobenders' shit is really fucking childish. I hope one of the mods raises your warning if you keep coming in here bandying around things like that in the hope of causing a bit of controversy.

wrong.

Wrong, really? 'Knobenders' isn't childish?

probably, but its trivia, if i really wanted to court controversy for the sake of it id do it properly and not through a silly name that many of us refer to it as.

I wonder what happens with the vic now, will it all refer to whatever archie has in his will?

i should think so yeah.. i bet peggy wont be signing that divorce paper now!! :P

Phil was hilarious tonight, Colonel Mustard did it in the Dining Room with the Candlestick  best line ever.
Ya Phil wa shilarious, i much prefer drunk Phil to sober Phil, really enjoyed tonights episode and its great seeing ricky and bianca together at last.

I was going to post this exact same thing tonight!

I thought tonight was well done. The montage of the police interviews; Ronnie getting all emotional over Archie, and then we cut straight to drunk Phil almost falling off his chair in hysterics at his own Colonel Mustard joke. GENIUS.

Steve McFadden really does knock everyone else out of the park when he's given good material (ie. drunk Phil).

He really is a scarily convincing drunk. It's the EYES. I also thought Bianca was on top form tonight. Glad to see the return of that piggy-faced copper too!

absolutely! i dont think ive ever seen him be so good! MORE DRUNKEN PHIL PLEASE!

Drunken Phil is some sort of soap god. It's quite scary how much I can go from loathing sober Phil to adoring drunk Phil.

Having watched tonight, it really feels like EE has finally started to get the comedy/drama balance right in the past few months.

For a soap which always has a rep for being misery/misery/misery, there's been quite a few LOL moments recently.

Highlights today - Zainab desperately trying to rip out the police murder sign, and Lucy's deadpan "straight? That's a good one".

That was quite funny, Amira's father turning up at the end was a party killer

for eastenders has always and ever had great comedy but its not like the stand out comedt coronation street does, eastenders does the kinda comedy that clicks a few seconds after the line is said.

...and Lucy's deadpan "straight? That's a good one".

Lucy providing a SHOAT HIGHLIGHT? What has the world come to? I fully approve however. I plan to devote my entire life to Melissa Suffield. She'd be my topic on Mastermind. (Actually vetenary drama of the decade Kay Mellor's The Chase would but I'm never going to admit that on a public message board.)

Lucy in a few years time will definitly be cindy part 2 so god help whoever she marries, i think id like a different actress to play her though, im not sure what i think of the current lucy;s acting, although looks wise she fits the bill as cindy's daughter.
