I think Stacey. That was my first thought right after the murder so I'll stick with it for now.

Tbh I'm not really that interested though. I think I'm more interested to see the way it's all done then the announcement of who actually did it. :heehee: LOL at Ben being the favourite though. People putting their money on the most ridiculous outcome giving EastEnders recent track record!

EastEnders hour-long special peaked at 11.5m yesterday evening, according to overnight figures, denting Emmerdale's audience in the process.

The Walford soap's 60-minute edition, which saw Ricky and Bianca tie the knot as well as Bradley and Stacey, pulled in an average of 10.77m (41.5%) across the entire episode. The figures peaked at 11.54m (42.9%) between 8pm and 8.05pm.

BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 1.25m (6.2%) and was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day.

Great ratings which makes me think the last 5 mnutes of tonight should easily peak at least 12 million viewers, im so looking forward to tonights live episode, and im sticking with that i think Jack is the murderer!

thinking out loud about continuity, considering this live episode is following from last night's which was probably recorded some time late last year, do we think that the actors will have been told not to get new hairstyles etc...in the last 8 weeks? it must have been a nightmare to organise logistically.
They have said there is one or 2 small continuity issues but the main one that worried them was weather, they said rain would be a nightmare for them.

Yup I feel sorry for poor Nina Wadia who has to become pregnant again! :D I think this is her last ep before giving birth so weird for her!

They are very lucky not to be affected by the snow! How awful would that have been?!

Diederick Santer will be telling a certain cast member they killed Archie right now!

I think I'm possibly even more excited to see said cast member's reaction than to see the episode itself :heehee: well I'm not but it'll be hella interesting.

I see Mushy has already made up his mind and decided to slate tonight's proceedings then (with no justification and no word on the superb quality of last night's special).

yes but i bet theere is a gap when the killer continues as normal and this revelation wont hamper the actor knowing just yet.
How can the actors not know? I mean, wouldnt they have already filmed future episodes for next week?

Like I said above I think

they will all believe they know who the killer is and that will cover the real killer's identity for a few weeks.

Rumours that they will film some extra scenes to be inserted but I don't believe that.

Ben Mitchell ? gotta be a wind up, he is what ? 10 years old ?

That bust of Queen Vic would be too heavy for him to pick up properly let alone slam down with precision on Archie's head

he didnt actually do it because of that very reason. he had to call up his buddy david platt to help him, but it was all ben's idea

:P

I'm predicting its Wellard. Its a coincidence that Robbie is back
