Yea really explains why Bradley was so desperate to get them away. My Mum was like "whys he running it makes him look guilty!" but it was to protect Stacey :(

Yes i think bradley just gave his life for stacey, but the question is what will max do now he knows?

Anyone like to predict the ratings for the live episode?

I know very interested to see where this goes now for Max and Stacey. Also Tanya. I'm guessing she's not coming back for his funeral?

Ratings - tough one. I'd love an average of like 14/15million and a peak around 17/18. Any higher and I'll be gobsmacked/thrilled :D

My favourite EE episode ever. It was so intense. Lacey is such a great actress. I fell off my seat when she was Archie's killer. Hope she doesn't leave aswell. I'll miss Bradley. The Aftermath was a great show. The EE cast are down to earth.

I think it's Stacey or Peggy..

Arrr get in! Shoulda placed a bet, she had odds of 18/1...

I reckon about 13.5m. I need to brave DS and see what people are saying over there but it's going to be headache-inducing MAYHEM isn't it? :heehee:

Id love the ratnigs to be about 15 million but i think 13.5 could be the peak, i hope im wrong though and it has a far higher peak.

I think the bbc 3 show should pull in at least 1 million.

The only mystery that i have now is who changed all th elocks on janine and who planted the ring, did stacey do all that or what i have a feeling that could happen is that stacey had already told bradley and he knew it was her and he did some of it???
I think it was really Jack. Framing her, to try and protect Bradley.

I haven't seen it yet (waiting for it to show on BBC3!) but I foolishly went on facebook :drama: so I know who did it. Really excited to see how it all panned out though.

I think it makes sense that Stacey did it now on a re-think, it makes the death of Bradley even more sad - probably why they kept that bit quiet as well. Stacey doesn't need to go down for murder - she's just had her punishment. It almost works as a Greek/Shakespearean tragedy. - Add to it, its their wedding night as well. Who knows, maybe Stacey told Bradley the truth - he did yell for Stacey to run afterall.

The live episode worked out pretty well, all things considered and I'm surprised and shocked they did quite a risky and dangerous roof-top scene, all things considered.

Apart from wobbly camera angles, the only thing that let it down for me was Jack Branning - who mucked up alot of lines - and came out of character at the beginning. But, it was live so i do appreciate neveres were aplenty

I'm just gutted for Lacey because it was her night (as well as Bradley's) and she deservered an interview. She is such a superb and real actress - watching tonight, i would hope she will have a very successful career pot Eastenders on stage and screen

I don't think there's any arguing about that. She's just fantastic ... whenever she's on screen you can't take your eyes off her ... and yet she never seems to be hogging the limelight. Why EE thinks it needs to bring a mediocre actress like Jesse Wallace back when they'll not find a better star than Lacey Turner puzzles me.

Pete ... like you ... I'm puzzled by the switching of the keys bit. Surely the only person who would do that would be either the murderer or someone who knew and was trying to protect the murderer ... in this case Stacey or Bradley. However - although they'd like to protect themselve/the other person ... I don't think either Stacey or Bradley are the kind of person to want to frame an innocent party in the process.

Norma

Wow! was a great episode

I wasnt expecting Stacey tbh, and wasnt expecting Bradley to die!

Think the ratings will beat Corrie this week

Well as some said it was probbaly max or jack that switched the locks as they thought they were protecing bradley but id say more jack than max. Yes i agree stacey is fantastic but jessie wallace is great aswell and the time jessie done the scenes when she revealed she was raped by her uncle and got pregnant with zoe were brilliant, what im really looking forward to see some scenes with kat and stacey as they were great together before and i always think they look alike aswell,
Peggy planted the ring in Janine's flat to have her arrested because she believed she did it and wanted Ronnie out of the frame. She as good as admitted it tonight!
The whole key thing was confusing and misleading. I realise that was probably the intention but I think it detracted from the plot a bit which is perhaps the only mark against tonight's epi.

'Enders boss "so proud" over live ep

Diederick Santer

EastEnders' executive producer Diederick Santer has confirmed that he is "so proud" of the soap's cast and crew despite some small "wobbles" in the live episode.

The BBC soap tonight marked its 25th anniversary by broadcasting its first ever live instalment direct from the show's home at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

The special edition featured the death of Walford favourite Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements) and the shocking revelation that his wife Stacey was the killer of Archie Mitchell.

Discussing how the team fared on EastEnders Live: The Aftermath, Santer commented: "I'm so happy, I'm so relieved, I'm so proud. I just think everyone did brilliantly tonight - the cast, the crew, everyone. It's everything I wished for and more. I'm thrilled with how it went. It was quite remarkable."

He added: "Everything went to plan. I spotted a couple of little wobbles but what I was proudest of was the recovery. The technical crew, the cast - every time we maybe veered slightly off course, they pulled it back round."

Tonight's episode was Santer's final instalment as executive producer following his decision to step down from the programme. Former Hollyoaks boss Bryan Kirkwood will officially take the helm at the soap from tomorrow.

Yes the key was one red herring too far IMO.

Peggy did do it as I do think she believed Ronnie was guilty and wanted to set Janine up for it. Why the lock switching I don't know!

Also I love how like Danielle the girl in the minute mart was! And she kept looking at Ronnie!

Oh and Peggy calling Janine, "June" in the Vic

With Diederick Santer leaving as well tonight, this all feels abit sad and Doctor Who New Years Day. It all feels end of an era not only Bradley leaving but the end of Bradley-Stacey, which again makes this story all the more tragic. I felt this alot when they did Charlie's best bits from the show - from beginning to end
