Been trying to figure them out too James. People saying the rape admission was one but not sure.

Diederick had said there was one that wasn't on screen too but that just confuses me even more! Hope he confirms!

If it wasn't on screen then how can it be a clue? He might as well say that there were 50 off screen clues. Also, I dont think that Stacey spitting is a clue - it doesn't really confirm that she had to do it - it just means she didn't like the man. And we know why that is.

In my opinion, clues need to be conclusive.

Yes, but thankfully in a great many other peoples' books it is - people with objectivity who can identify that Corrie is in an almighty slump and that Emmerdale, much as I love it and despite being consistently strong, could never dream of topping the sheer drama of an episode like last night's (or Thursday's) of Eastenders.

popularity does = good though.... take westlife for eg! :lol:

i dont agree about the drama... emmerdale never hypes up itself, the run up to the conclusion was tacky and annoying. i much prefer emmerdales more sober approach to even dramatic storylines (one just a couple of weeks ago) then eastenders hyperbole... but then again im not an impressionable youngster! :lol:

c'est la vie.

Interesting video;

Well, I say interesting, more amusing. I only noticed like half of these.

Diederick has confirmed the 3 clues:

On screen but not on the show - the trailers began with Stacey

Christmas Day - Stacey's reaction as she was handed the baby by Roxy - remember she couldn't wait to hand her back? & her disappearance.

'The killer was angry' clue - Stacey was the only one angry enoguh to spit on Archie's grave at his funeral.

Also confirmed Bradley DID know Stacey did it as she told him up in the bedroom :)

Those dont read that well but when you watch various bits it makes more sense:

Final scene of Christmas Day:

Trailer:

type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>" data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull="<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="

Holding baby at very beginning looking over at Vic; even her line to Bradley - "he is gone now, you said that was what was needed"

Stacey looking nervous/aggitated when police call:

That mistakes montage is really interesting if only because it highlights how none of them were detrimental to the episode at all really. The biggest mistake was probably Jack referring to the police as 'the public' and Peggy calling a character by a cast member's name and how minor is that?

Also despite mucking up a few lines Babs actually acted a hell of a lot better than usual in my opinion so I don't think she should've been too hard on herself (she looked pretty pissed off in the aftermath show at the start).

Diederick Santer has written a blog about how they'll continue the storyline now and who was kept in the dark etc. V interesting.

I know lol it's strange knowing, watching back and suddenly feeling silly for not noticing the little thing!

Good blog from Diederick too - nice of him to clear few things up. Really looking forward to seeing what's in store next.

Ahhh, you see, this is why I thought it couldn't have been her. I thought it was unlikely that she'd go back to the carol service straight after killing him. I put her not wanting to hold the baby down to be worried about Bradley or something. Same for being around the police, trying to protect Bradley. The spitting clue was pretty big, but obviously not too big, he raped her.

Im glad diedrick cleared the clue;s up and im glad he confirmed bradley knew stacey killed archie, it makes total sense of everything now.
so...that episode was amongst the most uncomfortable 30 minutes of television I've watched in a while...

Fabulous follow-up episode. We can Stacey's suffering knowing the truth even though she only played it as Bradleys death.

Max/Stacey kept apart with ease so not having to deal with that.

Lacey Turner is actually just amazing. I can't praise her enough. Heartbreaking tonight :(

Woah. That was another amazing episode, I was about to break down crying towards the end. :cry:
They definitly done a great follow up and you wouldnt realise the live episode was done all out of sequence at all, and diedrick has sai dthey are soon starting fliming of parts that need to be slotted in to whats already recorded for the next few weeks.

Truly heartbreaking episode! :(

Felt for her so bad, and I LOVE how they have managed to tie it all in, without the characters knowing it was Stacey etc... Diedrick is really going to be missed once he's left!

I did feel that ep had a Kirkwood vibe to it but not too much. I adore Santer but I'm excited to see what Kirkwood has planned!
Kirkwoods work wont be on screen for at the very earliest another month so the episode tonight was Santers work and not Kirkwood
Oh yea I know he's shadowing for the last month or so, so not doing much to affect what we are seeing :)

Let's hope Kirkwood does not axe a lot of the cast, well he could get rid of Dotty, I really hate her.
