I dount it there are a few songs that have a longer chart run than i gotta feeling such as journey;s dont stop believing, sharon shannon galway girl, mark mccabe maniac and bill whelan riverdance have had longer chart runs.

I can see rock that body having asteady top 20 run in both the UK and Ireland.

Apparantly 'Imma Be Rocking That Body' is set to be released in the UK on 31st May. Should I make a brand new thread for it, or merge the 'Imma Be' and 'Rock That Body' threads?
Is it actually going to be released as an official single, or just as a special single avaliable only from iTunes or something like that.
I suppose it makes sense, since the video combines the two songs, but I don't see why they'd release the normal version of "Rock That Body" first.
I don't get it? Surely 'Rock that Body' is done with now?

#40 in the UK this week, next week could be their first week not having a chart placing within the top 40 since the release of boom boom pow.

That already happened, on Rock That Body's first chart placement. I Gotta Feeling ended up at no.41, so there were no songs of theirs in the top 40. Still, this is falling faster than I would like it. Guess that's what happens with the 4th single of such a huge selling album.

Oh i forgot about that week, ya its falling fasy enough but it now has spent 11 weeks on the chart and sold around 140,000 which is great for a 4th single of a huge selling album. U2 first single of the last album didnt manage half that amount.

Billboard Chart Beat:

FIVE AND 10s: With a 16-9 jump on the Hot 100 for "Rock That Body," the Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D." becomes the first album in more than two decades by a duo or group to yield a quintet of top 10s on the survey.

Until this week, no album by duo or group had sported five Hot 100 top 10s since Milli Vanilli's "Girl You Know It's True" in 1989-90. When the pair's fifth top 10 "All or Nothing" reached the chart's top tier in February 1990, its debut album became the third set within four months to produce five top 10s, joining Bon Jovi's "New Jersey" and New Kids on the Block's "Hangin' Tough."

The Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" vaulted 39-1 the week of April 18, 2009, eventually spending 12 weeks at No. 1 and earning the honor of the Hot 100's top title of 2009. "I Gotta Feeling" debuted at No. 2 on June 27, 2009, and totaled 14 weeks at the summit. "Meet Me Halfway" rose 17-9 and peaked at No. 7 in October and "Imma Be" surged 11-4 in February before spending two weeks at No. 1 in March.

The group's achievement of five Hot 100 top 10s from an album marks the second such feat for vocalist Fergie. The singer sent five tracks from her solo debut, "The Dutchess," into the top five in 2006-08.

"The E.N.D." concurrently celebrates a year's residence on the Billboard 200, rebounding 22-17 in its 52nd week on the list.

Cool. Another random old pop song going viral on you-know-where.

Having said that, I think this was forgotten among their pre-2011 singles so it could have been a more annoying track. I mean, the song's still a bop.

Does it not feature somewhere? I'm sure I heard it in either a tv show or movie recently.

The TikTok resurgance has made its impact on the charts as the song has reset to SCR and re-enters at #35 today!

Thank god they didn’t reset I Gotta Feeling and shame they didn’t reset Imma Be
