INCREDIBLE! We snuck into the VIP upstairs so it was like friends, family, music journalists, Holly Valance??? plus me and my 2 drunken mates running around like mad lol. I met Amelle first, my jaw hit the floor 2 floors down when I noticed her struttin towards me so I sprang out infront of her and spewed gobbledeegook in my loon-rush. We hugge dlots and talked about her skydive which was moved to the friday so she could stay out and partay! Best part was she rubbed my (shaved) head and said she loved it! I've copied her hairstyle btw hehe.

I met Heidi later, we chatted like old friends, ^_^ she halved a bottle of champagne (rather quickly) at the bar with me and we discussed her engagement/wedding plans and I recall dissing Jay-Z and actually said 'He should pull his finger out!' GAWD! Oh, and she 'remembered me from meeting her in Edinburgh. She is sooo fookin tiny in person. Last time I met them was June '08 before C&S and she was bigger back then but still not 'big' IMO. My friend who is slim and beautiful stood beside Heidi (without H knowing ofc) and we compared their waists etc and it was like half of my friend's size! TBH anyone standing beside Jade Ewen on stage/TV will look like a whale so......

I was so elated with just meeting 2 of them at that point, even tho it was Jade who I hadn't yet met out of the 3 in the past. Strangely, after lying beside Amelle and her new bf Tom? on the beds that bordered the VIP area trying to enter into convo again (creep! I know) we went downstairs to the cloakroom and Miss Ewen was just standing there waiting for a taxi. So we talked for a bit and she said she loved my accent, got fotos etc and I apologised for my rant on Twitter that she was so nice about at the time making me feel like a d*ckhead cos I was 'unhappy' with her adlibs on PTB on their 1st performance together...eek! She was so lovely and even said are u guys comin to Mahiki? Which we totally could NOT afford lol so we just parted ways and got a wee kiss on the cheek.

I think each of them thought that we were affiliated with either one of the other girls/label/TV/radio/mag or something cos I'm sure we were the only 'fans' there so late or upstairs even, and we didn't get kicked out (which for the state of us was impressive) and they talked away to me like they didn't have to, ya know? Oh there was this annoying guy constantly shouting "Everyone go mad, everyone do the psycho!" Yep, that bad. I corrected him in the toilets later...

After that everyting got more and more fuzzy as we attempted to make our way back to East London in the cold yet I felt so sober cos of the sheer excitement of it all.

BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE SO FAR :w00t:

Thank u Sugababes x

PS. I wrote this really fast so I've prob left out lots of deets, like the amazing performance first etc etc

That's really nice of them. A lot of popstars would have you escorted out of the building. They seem to be really down to earth. All of them, actually. Well, I heard a few stories from friends who had met Keisha and they weren't impressed with her. But those three, Mutya and Siobhan all look approachable.

I remember meeting Siobhan briefly about 10 months ago in London. She was really sweet, funny and had a nice aura about her. We spoke about 'Rent', her albums (at this point, I was talking really fast & told her where her label messed up. She agreed.) and a few other bits & bobs. I didn't want to ask about anything Sugababes related, but I was really tempted to ask about her exit. A very nice lady. We took a picture together on my old phone. Oh - and she is sooo beautiful in person. I'm sure that was the same when you met the ladies, too.

yup yup! I'll get round to posting my fotos on here soon. My fave is me and Amelle cos my smile is so freakin permanent and huge lol

I am so jelous! :arrr: haha

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO WEAR MY KISS ALBUM VERSION IS AT 99

Isn't his audience the wrong demographic for the Sugababes' music?

I mean, I can think of at least three other shows they'd be more suited to. I can't see many people wanting to go and purchase a Sugababes album from watching them on Alan Titchmarsh.

I don't know if they perform a ballad it will defiently help Amy Macdonald had a decent push on album sales off the back of it on tuesday
I suppose they will perform current single WMK...

If they do.... <_<

Amy's music caters to his audience demographic more than Sugababes' music does, though. And she's doing pretty well with her stuff. She's a singer-songwriter with a guitar, nice voice and songs that are more acclaimed than Sugababes.

Can you imagine the old folk boogying along to "Get Sexy" watching three women tarted up dancing around? Whereas with Amy's style, it's more chilled out & laid back.

I just think it's a waste of promo. But I suppose it will be nice seeing them.

Yeah, but that was an obvious hit and would have done well whether they appeared on that show or not. You can't put "About You Now" in the same category as "Wear My Kiss".

The fact they're wasting time on this type of show where the audience majority is 35 years+ promoting "Wear My Kiss" is silly.

Alright, let them perform and then check sales for the single and tell me if there's a significant increase. There won't be because the audience at home who watch that show aren't interested in the type of music Sugababes are doing.

I disagree, they are interested in the Classic sound of the babes. Change, TLIY, Stronger etc appeals perfectly to them. WMK is generic trash to that audience, so in the respect they are chasing the wrong market i agree.
