Lucie - Sweet Child O'Mine 8.5

 

A slightly odd performance, starting off with the Grammy winning Sheryl Crow version vocally and musically which worked, before changing into the Guns'N'Roses version. A greater vocal performance but vocally she is too clean sounding for the second half of that backing track IMHO, she should have kept it country sounding like at the beginning.

Lucie: At first I wasn't sure but she really got into it after a while and I'm very surprised at the rocky edge coming out in her voice. She could definitely give avril lavinge a run for her money with that performance. 8/10

Lucie smashed it, she seems to be very versatile, great song choice, I still would have preferred Don't Speak for her song choice, overall great performance 9.5/10 with a touch of Kelly Clarkson in her imo.

Lucie looks like a girl I know that is a bit of a man-eater. Even some of the looks Lucie pulls are similar to what this girl does. :lol: . Anyways good performance. Joe wasn't bad either

Lucie :: Wow - didn't know whether this was going to be good or not, but I can safely say it was fantastic. Like Simon said, on paper it looked like it might not have worked, but I like that it wasn't predictable and, well, it did work! 9.5/10

Joe: Hes very good and very consistant. Definatly my favorite of the males this year. Another great performance from him. 8/10

 

Lucie: Im really warming to her now that she's pulled off 2 great performances in a row. Her voice still manages to grate a bit but otherwise brilliant. 8/10

Didn't enjoy Lucie's performance that much.

 

I hope Jedward are on soon. Sick of them getting good slots near the end.

What a mess, the music sounds all heavy, that was dreadful 2/10

Lucie was amazing, and Danyl was awful.

Danyl :: That's absolutely horrendous. I mean, last week I thought he was bad, but he made it look actually quite good with this. I think he forgot the words, he was totally out of key, and it really was a step down from Lucie & Joe who performed very well. Poor stuff - 0/10

I bet Cheryl feels uncomfortable in that outfit. :lol: its hideous.

Dannii was the most honest of the judges...
