I think given the nature of this (it isn't really their fault, and I wouldn't want to be the person who robs two countries of entries that weren't their fault - all of these songs were top 7 anyway in the end, so there aren't any outrages) and because of the BaNG XX precedent, I'm going to have to allow these two countries in...this error did change the scoreboard for XIX quite fundamentally.

are now qualifiers...I will upload scoreboard screenshots for full transparency after TBO is finished. What had occurred is that all of the scoreboards had originally only gone from C to Y, but as I received more votes I had to extend them to AJ. I changed the formulas to do this and dragged them down, however for some reason it didn't do this for half of XIX (which is odd, seeing as I dragged it all :wacko: I can't actually explain how this can have happened :/) thereby skewing the results for it...thankfully there is consistency in the results and 3 of the qualifiers remained the same, the other two going down to 6th and 7th!

Pshh, she's cheap now, but wasn't at the time. Her only previous experience was a semi hit with "Meddle" back in VIII, I like to think it was creative-ish at the time, especially since it's by far her least BJSC friendly song. It was "Earthquake" being sent the following contest and then "Mathematics" being sent at the next possible chance that made her BJSC cheap. -_-

 

Pleased to see six of my entries make it. :wub: GOSH I used to be good at this thing, what happened? Shocked to see Tegan and Sara finish so high in their contest, I think it remains my only entry over all contests and spin-offs that didn't get a 12 in the final.

 

BLIMEY Tyron you couldn't have adjusted the semis a little, so I don't have so many in the same one, could you?! I hope people don't think "oh, he has too many in this semi final, I won't vote for them all" and only leave them out if they don't like them. (which based on some reactions to Boots/Kelly/Estelle/September making it is very likely) It doesn't help that (mine aside) SF1 looks quite weak and I'll have less choice. :lol:

 

I'm backing "O...Saya", "Dream On" and "Stuck On Repeat" most out of mine (but vote for them all, yeah?) the last is my favourite (but people might be bored of all her songs being in it) and the first two just seem like the ones with the best shot at doing something. (though I'm surprised "O...Saya" made it!)

25-7th is quite a redemption, I have to put it solely down to the fact that it was later a UK hit single :lol: Hafdis however appears to have grown naturally :cheer: glad it seems to prove that I send growers to the contest, not sure if that's a good thing in a contest that you need songs to be instant to do well :unsure:
