Signing with Roc is just a rumour though.

I hadn't heard that rumour, I was just saying if they were then I would be accepting of that as a reason for the delay.

They all are VERY excited about the Dev Hynes collab shouting "BANGER" here and there. I smell 'Push the Button' vibe that was also recorded at the last minuted and became their biggest worldwide hit to date. Fingers crossed for that anyway!

They harmonise so well. I can't wait for their next single. I'm also really excited for SB v4.0 new stuff (when will it arrive?)

I haven't really cared for this reformation til now, I have to admit I'm excited even just after hearing the 5 second clip!

Thought it was a good idea to start a separate discussion for the actual album from excitement about the reunion.

I hope this is good, I only got into the Sugababes when 2.0 were around but I love Keisha and Mutya so this is hopefully going to be a brilliant project! :D

 

When do we think that it's going out though? Surely it can't be that long if they're releasing information now.

I can see that being the timeframe the record label would prefer. Right into the high-sales period.

Very exciting times, I can't wait to hear new material :D

Could be an advert as it comes up fine on my laptop.

It's been played during a DJ set so it's officially in the risk zone of leaking.

What they need to do is make songs in the vein of Song 4 Mutya and Scandalous. It could work out for them!

 

But yes, I am going through a little mini obsession of them at the moment - One Touch is an incredible album and Run For Cover is a beauty of a song (as my signature hopefully proves). :wub:

I think their new material will be a lot better than recent stuff by sugababes (jade ewen etc) but I do wonder how well they will do considering they have been out of the limelight for a while.

I sense the album may not do great. Its too long in the making, it just appears the album is coming for a long time but still has not arrived. The Sugababes brand name has been well tarnished and they are still part of that brand to an extent. For this to work they need a corker of a single to start it off and i dont think that will happen.

Nick Grimshaw was listening to the new "Sugababes track". I suspect it's not 4.0.

Perhaps although I think they are still in the US. Most recently NYC.

 

 

They need to get that official site up and running if they are about to launch their comeback campaign.
