I'm very happy about this! Now I hope we can forget the awfulness that was 'Flatline' and release some good music so I can become a fan once again. That would just be great 💁.

I remain endlessly hopeful. The new material they showed at the Live show was so good.

So things are still happening in Camp MKS

The fact that Keisha is in the studio means nothing really. I'm not getting my hopes up yet.

At least something is occurring. They all seem to be hanging out and tweeting/instagramming each other so at least they haven't fallen out

As a fan of Sugababes, all line-ups, simply changing the name to Sugababes will likely do nothing for MKS.

 

Fans didn't not buy Flatline because they were called MKS. 10,000 people bought the single in it's first two weeks, they simply don't have the fanbase anymore. I was really looking forward to the album but the ridiculous wait for anything has just made me give up. A pretty basic timeline is, Siobhan confirmed the album was complete almost two years ago, the first and last single was released almost a year ago, the last interview they gave was five months ago, the last tweet they sent from the band account was four months ago. Fans have waited and waited and waited and have gotten nothing back in return.

 

They can announce an album tomorrow, they can announce they are the Sugababes again but will it do anything for the album sales? Very unlikely in my opinion. As I say, I'm past waiting for an announcement now. The media support for them has gone, the fans that wanted them back obviously didn't want them back enough or Flatline wouldn't have Flatlined (such an unfortunate name for a single lol). As much as the fans said back in 2009 the Sugababes was the original line-up, I simply don't believe that to be true. 2.0 will always be the most successful and they will always be the real Sugababes (in my opinion). If 1.0 do find time in their hectic schedules to release an album, I believe it will go the way of One Touch, just not with the semi-hit single to go with it.

 

Sugababes for me will always be the line-up that delivered pop classics like Freak Like Me, Round Round, Stronger, Push The Button, Hole In The Head, Too Lost In You along with amazing album tracks.

 

Looks like the latest rumblings are of 2015 rather than this year. They seem to be recording things again which could support the rumour they've switched label (assuming polydor have retained copyright of the unreleased stuff)

I can't believe it's nearly been a year since 'Flatline' was released and we still haven't heard a second single let alone an album! If they haven't switched labels then what on earth is taking so long.
