Yes, they never committed to either 2015 or 2016 as obviously, they have had to sort out their record label situation and the whole "Sugababes" trademark. It's also obvious that they aren't going to release anything in Q3 or Q4 and will most likely be aiming at a Q1/Q2 release to try and take advantage of the sales lull like All Saints did. But who knows if Siobhan was just taken back by the question and threw out a date.

Nah, when you hear the audio you know she's not thrown by it. She also very clearly says Sugababes as well. MKS name is well and truly dead.

 

It'll be next year because the EU rights to Sugababes are still owned by Crown, that trademarking battle is ongoing currently and I think the next deadline is September for Keisha to respond to objections and then it will be decided. Not using it for 5 years usually equals lapsed trademark so its a battle that Keisha should win

I'm really not getting my hopes up because things obviously went very wrong with MKS and I was fully prepared to accept that the project had been shelved and that was that. If they release it, I'm here it for it. If not, I think I'm about 2 years past the point of caring.
