She's just got married. Keisha and Mut are always in meetings at the minute.

I think Heidi is enjoying her retirement.

Mutya is in The Philippenes now for a month so not much will be progressing now for a while. Looks like we're waiting for the trademark to be cancelled and I think once that happens we will start to see things happen quite quickly again

Pretty much. It's obvious she has no interest in going solo and Sugababes won't be reuniting. Maybe she can replace someone in the tragic 2/3s of Atomic Kitten / 3/4s of B*Witched / Girls of Liberty X / S Club 3 comedy tour?

She doesn't have the voice for it. She was always the worst live and as lovely as Sometimes is she defo really suits being part of the three part harmony.

TBH I've not really thought much of Heidi since Keisha-gate and the Scala comeback gig was a real eye opener because Siobhan utterly bossed the 2.0 material. I would die happy for a studio of Siobhan singing Freak and Stronger

To be fair, far more mediocre voiced girl group members have attempted "solo" careers... Jenny Frost, anyone? 4 out of Girls Aloud?

True dat. Although they had people willing to sign them. I couldn't imagine a queue of people waiting to sign Heidi as a soloist. Let's be honest she was there to make Mutya and Keisha look good :kink:

I've read somewhere that Heidi now has an office job in Sony.

Regarding MKS the legal battle over the Sugababes name is not over. Even more so: there is another query now regarding the fact that Crown didn't use the Sugababes name for 5 years now, which can be a cause of its withdrawing.

Regarding the leaked tracks: I hope the ladies are not damaged by them, or at least not damaged too much. But even if they were, those tracks are like 3-4 years old! They will definitely to record new material anyway.

And while I liked/loved all of them, unfortunately I didn't see THE SINGLE out of them. Everything would get the same #50 peak like 'Flatline' did unfortunately. I like 'Drum' the most instantly, but it got old the most quickly out of them. The biggest grower was 'Love in Stereo', while the best song for me is 'Summer '99'.

Keisha is in the studio. Looks like producing rather than recording.

I think the comeback is coming. For real this time. I can feel it you guys

keisha is producin amelle's solo albem ~ ~ ~

WOW! Thanks for that! It's kinda sad seeing it together as a proper album. What a waste.
A compilation of the leaked tracks. There is a site that has it downloadable. I’ll try and dig it out for everyone tonight

What an album.

However, looking at the material collectively, I really don't understand why they made such a push for Flatline to be the first single (beautiful as it is). It was the first release from 1.0 in such a long time, so they needed something more in your face - something that would grab the attention of radio and the casual listener. Boys would've done the job well, following a buzz release of Swimming Pools. They attracted such positive feedback from the mashup - it's so frustrating they didn't capitalise on it! A decent iTunes position would've looked good on their stats.

Anyway... just another (of many) shoddy management choice for our girls.

I'm not sure they ever had permission to release Lay Down which could be why it has still never made it to iTunes.

Today or I'm Alright I think would have worked well also I think. I'm Alright is very very Sugababes.

I forgot about them not having permission to release it. Even still, they could've taken advantage of all the good press and thrown some buzz singles out there. So unfair!
"Technically" speaking, you could theoretically download the MP3s from the original site shared... I mean, I don't have them on my iPod already

A lot of the trademark documents have reappeared on the EUIPO site. They had vanished for a short while.

Current situation is that the trademark proceedings are suspended pending a case in front of the UK Courts and that's all secret :(
