Bitch please, nobody over the age of 13 in Ireland likes John and Edward, so f*** off with your lazy generalisations.

And grow up a tiny bit, just because I don't like your precious Kylie.

'Lol'.

"Bitch please" lol

Didnt know children under 13 controlled your charts. Must be true since they do so well there. And its hardly a generalisation if its true. The song was big in Ireland so the general Irish music buying public must like them.

Jedward promoted and promoted their first single in Ireland and it did very well, but that doesnt mean under 13 year old control the charts, i mean the UK has had some pretty dire number 1's aswell but i wouldnt go as far to say its all down to certain age group.

Any chart mod could change the subtitle please. Bruno is number 1 now.

So happy Heart Vacancy is already #21 :yahoo:

Oh really? This must be true for The Club Is Alive by JLS in the UK then, yes?

Your point is ridiculous. It's like trying to suggest that The Climb by Joe McElderry is considered a classic, evergreen hit in the UK because it sold in huge numbers.

But certain songs got to No.1 with only the support of a specific age group, such as JLS in the UK, as I have previously mentioned. Apart from children and perhaps teenage girls, I cannot see anyone who would actually buy a song by Jedward.

Do you know anyone who bought any Jedward music? How old were they??

Im with you Irishguy and i cant stress how much i hate jedward, anyone i know who has bought anything to do with jedward is a kid i dont know any adult who likes them. Their second single didnt do great which is good but im still shocked by how well the album is doing in Ireland.

Yes again i agree about the uk that certain songs only do well on the back of one particular fan base, i think UK wise McFly are a great example of that and thankfully McFly dont sell much at all in Ireland and have never been really that big here. Jedward to ireland are what mcfly are to the uk in my eyes.

Pixie Lott - Use Somebody - 994 + 726 + 583

Pixie Lott - Can't Make this over - 198

Pixie Lott - Doing Fine Without You - 136

Pixie Lott - Broken Arrow - 126 & 42

Pixie Lott - Coming Home #75

Does anyone have any idea where Pixie could be in the Albums if her tracks are doing really well in the singles:L And, if they're doing this well in Ireland, espec Coming Home and Doing Fine, they will do great in Britain:L

Often album tracks do worse in the UK than Ireland though.

I really do hope that Coming Home can make the charts officially.

A bit of topic, but i have serach for this in severel weaks.

Can anyone tell me chart positions and sales certifications for all A-ha albums in Ireland?

There is a good chart archive but it only has single information.

Pixie's album MUST be doing quite well if Coming Home is in the top 50!!:o

I was thinking that. Coming Home seems to not be doing much worse than the average Pixie single, considering it has no promotion, literally.

can sum1 tell me how i can get a look at the irish top 100 itunes chart for today-?- or even the wkend??

i know an irish band who just released their song onto itunes on friday and wanna see how their doing.
