Diana #8 :yahoo: great compared to the fact tbwml didnt even chart top 100

Edited by Brad2k88

She's doing much better in Ireland than In Britain.

Surprised at Pixie & Derulo.

Hopefully it will chart in the top 50 in Ireland:)

Rihanna is now #1 and beginning to pull away now (esp from Cheryl who is still stuck at #3 but will be #2 tomorrow). I'd imagine Cheryl will catch up or overtake after X Factor on Sunday though.
Even the Irish know which track is better between 'Only Girl' and 'Promise This'. Would be fantastic if Rihanna beat Cheryl Cole to no. 1 in Ireland - even 'Russian Roulette' struggled to take off in Ireland.

Does Rihanna not have an EP for Only Girl?

Cheryl is at #8 in the album chart with the Promise EP.

Rihanna 1 and Cheryl 3, that was expected I guess. 'Only girl' might be the hottest Rihanna's track ever. The top2 is gonna be brillant whoever is number 1

At the end of the day, a number 2 would still be an achivement !

Does Ireland get to watch x factor? if so cheryls track will explode on sunday!

You need a TV to watch X-Factor, we don't have TV's in Ireland.

"Even the Irish"?

Thought Cheryl would perform better than Rihanna, or at least be No.2. Suppose she'll be No.1 after Sunday night though
Really hope Rihanna can hold on, brilliant news for her hope it happens here to.Joe went to No 1 after he performed but he is now at 36.

Hopefully the UK will follow suit. Only Girl is far better than Promise This, and I'm not even a Rihanna loon (yet. I may be during this era, as Loud is shaping up to be an amazing album).

As far as I am aware, yes, you can watch The X Factor if you live in Ireland. I'm sure I read somewhere that they even get to vote this series

Well some people do but they can't use them until someone invents electricity! :naughty:

Yes, even the Irish. :P By that I mean look at all the countries where 'Only Girl' is currently a massive hit. I don't see 'Promise This' being anywhere near as successful when the track gets released internationally. Hence currently on Ireland iTunes it's Rihanna outselling Cheryl Cole which proves which song is more "popular". The fact Cheryl Cole will get a boost in sales after a TV performance says everything. I hope Cheryl peaks at #2.

'Fight For This Love' was successful in loads of countries but I'll be gobsmacked if 'Promise This' repeats the same type of success in those same countries.
