242 Mania – Looking For A Place To Go (2004)

241 Avril Lavigne – My Happy Ending (2004)

Into the top 250 we go. Starting with Red Blooded Woman, a much better song than Slow – the lead single for Kylie – Body Language. Girls Aloud’s second number #1 single in I’ll Stand By You becomes their second of the 11 in the countdown to drop out. The ultimate collaboration in Christina, Pink, Mya and Lil Kim. The Robbie songs are dropping like flies and the non-Javine rejects for Girls Aloud with their flop 2003 song Download It (which no one did it appears).

Tatu and the first of 3 Maroon 5 records also appear. As does Mania with Looking For A Place, a rather forgotten Xenomania flop from 2004. The first of 2 Gwen Stefani appearances and another for Avril which leaves When You’re Gone as the only song left for her.

240 Kelis – Trick Me (2004)

239 Arctic Monkeys – I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor (2005)

238 Madonna – Jump (2006)

237 Oasis – Stop Crying Your Heart Out (2002)

236 JoJo – Leave (2004)

235 Gabrielle – Out Of Reach (2001)

234 Mutya Buena – Real Girl (2007)

233 Sugababes – Ugly (2005)

232 Daniel Powter – Bad Day (2005)

231 Girls Aloud – Whole Lotta History (2006)

A mixed bag here. 2 relatively more Indie based bands in the Arctic Monkeys and Oasis, the only appearance for the Monkeys but there is still one Oasis song to come. The queen of Pop makes the first of her two appearances with 2006’s Jump, the last single from Confessions On The Dancefloor. Girls Aloud & Sugababes also appear with Whole Lotta History (their lowest selling single) and Ugly (the last single to feature Mutya Buena). Speaking of Mutya, she finishes one position bellow the Babes with Real Girl. Kelis is also here with 2004’s Trick me, much superior to Milkshake imo. JoJo with 2004’s Leave, Gabrielle with 2001’s Out Of Reach and Daniel Powter with 2005’s Bad Day complete the group.

231 Girls Aloud – Whole Lotta History (2006)

Why 'Whole Lotta History' higher than 'Can't Speak French'? Anyway, great bunch

Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor is amazing. Much better than their recent output.

Cos Whole Lotta History is just about better than Cant Speak French. Simple. :)

Whole Lotta History is gorgeous, so underrated, easily in my top 10 GA singles, probably about 7th or 8th

Its my 11th highest GA song in this countdown. It was a nice song to end the album with imo, just a great shame it didnt even scrap 50k.

^ Unnecessary spam? -_-

Jump is really bad for a Madonna song! Quite a few I don't like..nice to see you getting rid of the crap in the earlier stages though. :P

230 Robbie Williams – Feel

229 Killers – Somebody Told Me

228 Kelis – Caught Out There

227 Robbie Williams – Something Beautiful

226 Estelle – Go Gone

225 Kylie Minogue – In Your Eyes

224 Samantha Mumba – Gotta Tell You

223 Jennifer Lopez – Hold It Don’t Drop It

222 Sugababes – Easy

221 Javine – Touch My Fire

This is what you call a weak group, a group of songs that escaped the net if you like. This group of 10 were originally the 211-220 group however I realised the original 221-230 group was much stronger so decided to completely swap them. The majority of these should all probably be a bit lower. Anyway in this group we have 2 more Robbie William’s songs meaning he has only 2 remaining, will any of them manage top 200? The first of two Killers songs and the second Estelle and Jennifer Lopez appearances. Kelis makes another appearance with the anthemic Caught Out There and another Kylie track appears which like Robbie leaves her with only 2 songs remaining. Sugababes get another appearance this time with Easy. Remember Samantha Mumba? Gotta Tell You completes the group alongside Eurovision flop Javine’s first of three appearances – also the only Eurovision related song in the countdown.

224 Samantha Mumba – Gotta Tell You

223 Jennifer Lopez – Hold It Don’t Drop It

222 Sugababes – Easy

221 Javine – Touch My Fire

LOVE 'Easy' and 'Gotta Tell You'. 'Hold It Don't Drop It' was okay and I adored 'Touch My Fire' at the time ... not so much now however.

Thanks Jack :) Hmm yeah I loved Touch My Fire a lot more back in 2005, still the best Eurovision entry we've had this decade though imo - should have finished higher than it did.

229 Killers – Somebody Told Me

228 Kelis – Caught Out There

222 Sugababes – Easy

Definately one of Sugababes' best, can't believe THIS is their lowest seller. :snif:
