Disturbia  always reminded me of an urban version of Blue (Da Ba Dee) until Flo Rida's Sugar came out that is :heehee:

nice to see that we both have the same favourite Nelly Furtado song :o I expect everyone else here prefers either Maneater, Say It Right or Try

That is possibly the worst Nelly Furtado song of all time. I didnt mind it at the time but I honestly cant stand it now.

With You is stunning and underlooked though. Should have got higher than #8 I think it was. Disturbia - one of RiRi's best aswell.

Millionaire is stunning - only just missed my countdown. Apologize was quite good for a while aswell.

25: Jay Sean 'Down' [uK Chart Peak: 3] (Year: 2009)

Time for another song from 2009, just one more from this year to come, any guesses? :kink: But now it's Jay Sean with the incredible 'Down'! I know it sounds almost like everything else he has ever done, but it's weird, it's like he uses the same formula over and over again, but improves each time. I am a casual fan of Jay. I like some stuff, but hate others ('Ride It' :puke:) and I have never listened to any of his albums... Maybe I should...

24: Christina Milian 'Whatever U Want' [uK Chart Peak: 9] (Year: 2004)

Up now is a forgotten gem! 'Whatever U Want' is without doubt, Christina Milian's best. I always preferred it to the good but slightly overrated 'Dip It Low'. I was hoping this would at least match 'Dip It Low''s position and success :( I also have a random memory of this song as it was the first video that got me into the brilliant 'B4' show that used to be on channel 4 at like 7:30 every morning :heehee:

-------------------------------

23: Cassie 'Long Way 2 Go' [uK Chart Peak: 12] (Year: 2006)

Now is the song that always should have done better than it did. I have been quite the fan of Cassie, and always thought this deserved to peak higher than 12 <_<. I think this is one of my favourite ever produced songs, everything about it is infectious also her voice has a really nice tone and suits the beat so much.

-------------------------------

22: Rihanna 'Take A Bow' [uK Chart Peak: 1] (Year: 2008)

How can I do an RnB countdown without having my personal favourite Rihanna single? Up next is a song that I have never understood the hate for. It's a lovely ballad and showcases her vocals pretty well. It's so raw and she does a very good job vocally. I know this is my personal favourite RiRi song, and I am aware she still has another entry to come, the reason it's lower, is because although I love it, it hasn't quite reached the "RnB classic" status, that the song higher (MUCH higher :kink:) has reached. (Please say that made sense LOL)

-------------------------------

21: Omarion 'Ice Box' [uK Chart Peak: 14] (Year: 2006)

Right, at 21 is the stunning 'Ice Box' by Omarion! Remember what I just said about 'Long Way 2 Go' being one of my favourite productions? Well this one is too! I think it's definately top 5, everything about this song is stunning. I was actually, GUTTED when it only reached a peak of 14  It deserved at least 10 places higher! -_-

STILL TO COME:

[2002] 1 (Peak = [1])

[2003] 1 (Peak = [1])

[2004] 2 (Peaks = [1] & [18])

[2005] 1 (Peak = [2])

[2006] 4 (Peaks = 2x[2] & 2x[4])

[2007] 6 (Peaks = 3x[1], [3], [6] & [8])

[2008] 4 (Peaks = [1], [3], [12] & [47])

[2009] 1 (Peak = [5])

Some great songs there. I havent really been a fan of Jay Seans stuff from 2007 onwards (much prefered him in 2004) but Down is suprisingly better.

Whatever U Want i loved at the time but is inferier to Dip It Low (which just missed my top 300)

Long Way To Go - possible the only Cassie song I like that much

Ice Box I also really loved at the time of release

Take A Bow sounds much better now than it did last year. Also just missed my top 300.

ADORE 'Long Way 2 Go' and 'Take A Bow'

'Ice Box' is pretty good too, surprised it wasn't a bigger hit than it was!

Right I'm sick of doing comments :heehee: there may be some that get comments but I can't be arsed and think the songs them selves should do the talking :P - Oh and I rate every song in my Top 20 10 out of 10!

10: Mary J Blige feat. U2 'One' [uK Chart Peak: 2] (Year: 2006)

Next up is one of my favourite songs and cover versions of all time! It's the brilliant shouldn't work, but just does track 'One' by none other than MJB! The reason it's so low in my countdown to say it's one of my fave songs ever, is because I wasn't sure whether this should be classed as an RnB track or not. So I included it, but not too high. I'm crap at explaining things so I hope you get this! LOL. But yeah watch the video and enjoy it! If you don't like it, don't bother commenting TBH -_- That's a lie I need as many comments as possible :(

We Belong Together was actually quite good by Mariahs standards

Didnt like Burn at the time because it stopped Girls Aloud from #1 lol.

Listen is FANTASTIC. Im pleased it went top 10 even if it was down to X-Factor

Break The Dawn, underated classic. One of 2008's bests.

I Hate This Part is by far PCD's best song

Irreplaceable again, fantastic song. One of B's best.

Come To Me was ok

Closer was great aswell. My seconf best Ne-Yo song after Because Of You.

Lil Star, fantastic. One of Kelis's best.

09: Alicia Keys 'If I Ain't Got You' [uK Chart Peak: 18] (Year: 2004)

Next up at number 9 is the incredibly talented, the beautiful and stunning Alicia Keys  With the phenomenal and vastly underrated 'If I Ain't Got You'! It has one of the most haunting openings in a song ever imo. I can't quite put across just how annoyed I am she hasn't been able to find proper success here in the UK. Yes her albums are moderate hits and her lead singles are usually very successful but everything after seems to bomb :( She deserves far more than she gets and she still has another entry to come! :o

08: Jordin Sparks feat. Chris Brown 'No Air' [uK Chart Peak: 3] (Year: 2008)

Up now is definately, without doubt one of my favourite songs from either singer. I think it is one of the best duets ever and their voices go so well together. Although it has become a massive hit, I still think it deserved number 1 for a week or 2 at least. Such a stunning song both musically and lyrically.
