November 11, 200916 yr ^^ i think they mean it was in a turning point in that it was a song that radio 1 really got behind. I kinda meant "why did radio 1 decide to A-List SKO, but not the better songs that came before?" Sorry, my fault, I don't think I phrased it right before
November 11, 200916 yr Author Because its a brilliant song, and it was probably their danciest song at the time. Radio 1 preferr dancier pop tracks. After SKO, they would only return to the A-list with Call The Shots, probably their most credible single to date.
November 11, 200916 yr Why to bring Girls Aloud into it?? Trouble maker you are :arrr: And anyway you're completely wrong, radio airplay has never been strong (and even quite weak) for Girls Alound until "Something kinda ooh". As it's been said only SOTU (I'm not even sure about that one) and SKO got A-listed in their first FIVE years. So get your facts right next time. Whatever! OMG just calm down. Don't have such a huge baby over nothing GOSH your such a rash  I'm only 16 I haven't exactly been listening to radio since I was 10 so I was only basing it from what I've heard since I was 13 and from what I know they've always been more bias to GA since then and GA have miles better peaks on the Airplay Charts than the Sugababes as well. Take a PMS pill or something, why not make a comparison between GA and Sugas when they're so closely related. Whenever someone mentions the word Cheryl or GA you get all aggressive at them, even if they're not insulting them! I'm NOT a troublemaker, YOU are and your trying to make out as if I am meanwhile its you. Is it you dislike Sugababes fans so much that you have to pick an argument everytime you see one to try and prove what a great GA fan you are?! If so you've got some serious growing up to do, maybe take a break from the forums for a few days or something. I'm sure another Sugababes fan wouldn't want to put up with your attacking posts especially in the release week of About A Girl!

I've always seen SKO as a very weak song, and I'd say their danciest song is "Love Machine", and "Biology" is pretty dancy too. I do really like "Call The Shots" though. Does anyone have GA single sales to prove what the public think the better songs are, and not just Radio 1? Or is it best to try the GA forum?

You might be new in this forum but the rules are as simple as that : don't bring Girls Aloud into the discussion when it's totally irrevelant/out of order. AAG moving to the A-list on Radio 1 isn't linked in any way to Girls Aloud, so you hadn't to bring them in, moreover claiming untrue allegations they were favourited by Radio 1 or something. End of the discussion, if you have a problem with it, refer to a moderator and he will tell you the exact same thing.

Those are typical pop tracks, nothing remotely dance about them.
November 12, 200916 yr Love Machine? Biology? Those are typical pop tracks, nothing remotely dance about them. They are up-tempo though, so you can dance to them. But if "Call The Shots" was also A-Listed, what's the reason for that? It's not a dance song
November 12, 200916 yr I didn't know The X Factor Finalists song was released to radio already. :o I don't think they can play it before it's been performed on X Factor, though  I've not heard them play it so far, and it's not on YouTube, but I guess it's been added already since they will be playing it before next Wednesday?
November 12, 200916 yr Great to see 3OH!3/Katy Perry and Mini Viva added, both excellent songs.
November 12, 200916 yr i'm sooo glad Little Boots 'Earthquake' is A-listed... hopefully it would help generate more sales for the song since it's still in the bottom top 400 on itunes....
