November 15, 200915 yr Author I think it's fukking horrendous. Strangely enough, the only one in their who I could recognise and think has a good recording voice is Lloyd. Gobby at the end kills it though.
November 15, 200915 yr Seriously, this should be banned. It's an insult to Michael Jackson, and even greater insult to the Great Ormand Street charity as they will probably only see a pittance.
November 15, 200915 yr It's so long and boring, I was listening to it last night and had to stop it around the 4 minute mark before I dozed off.
November 15, 200915 yr i DESPISE this and as soon as I heard that this song was going to be covered by them i said that of course Simon is gonna make sure Danyl (or "cavern-mouth" as i like to call him lol) gets the "big notes" and SURPRISE SURPRISE...he does  I hate Simon Cowell and the X Factor now
November 15, 200915 yr I cant really call it awful, its just boring and bland. Im rather failing to recocgnise anyones voice either. Joe's at the start followed by Jamie I think. I can hear Stacey, Lucie and Miss Frank aswell I think.
November 15, 200915 yr It's so long and boring, I was listening to it last night and had to stop it around the 4 minute mark before I dozed off. But it's only 4 minutes long
November 15, 200915 yr But it's only 4 minutes long  Oh. It must have been before that then, I just saw the video was 5 minutes long and decided I couldn't face the rest.
November 15, 200915 yr Oh. It must have been before that then, I just saw the video was 5 minutes long and decided I couldn't face the rest. True....I did think it was very brave doing 5 minutes....then when the big key change came I nearly keeled over at the prospect of two minutes of shouty oversings and choirs.
November 15, 200915 yr I liked "Hero" last year. The disappointing thing about this cover, is that Jedward don't have a big enough part
November 15, 200915 yr Whos the girl from around 3:35 to 3:45? powerful voice, didn't know there was one that good! :naughty:
November 15, 200915 yr God, they've taken out all of the emotional subtlety and impact of the original and made it so...boring
November 15, 200915 yr Whos the girl from around 3:35 to 3:45? powerful voice, didn't know there was one that good! :naughty: That would be Rachel, who sadly was in the bottom two in 3 out of the first 4 weeks before being eliminated.
November 15, 200915 yr Never said my opinion on the track here... so BORING. Not atrocious or awful, just boring. Like it better than Hero definately!
November 15, 200915 yr I can only imagine how bland the winner's single will be, I wonder when we get to hear what song the winner will be covering this year!?! or will it be a *shock* brand new track perhaps :o
November 15, 200915 yr or will it be a *shock* brand new track perhaps :o My money is on Chasing Cars. Dunno why
November 15, 200915 yr it had better not be Chasing Cars as that would probably have a major knock on effect on the original and we really don't need to see that back again imagine if it was Right Here Right Now
November 15, 200915 yr it had better not be Chasing Cars as that would probably have a major knock on effect on the original and we really don't need to see that back again imagine if it was Right Here Right Now  I'd say it's the favourite at the moment. A few people have said they might use Right Here Right Now or The Angels Brought Me Here but I don't think Simon Cowell will want to take a step backwards with the winners' songs. I wish they'd do an uptempo one!!! Like Nikki from Dutch Idol. BfNXryhsPt4
November 15, 200915 yr no way would they do an uptempo, it's too much of a risk with nearly all of the finalists specialising in ballads it would be hilarious if Jedward had to sing Right Here Right Now though, it would be completely inappropriate  they should have different 'winners' songs for each artist in my opinion, what suits somebody doesn't necessarily suit somebody else, I hate this 'one song fits all' approach after Hallelujah, and now Leona's Run and Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Westlife's Daughtry covers it seems that Cowell's trying to be a bit 'cooler', so I fully expect something slightly more respectable, although put through the 'Cowell generic sucks all of the emotion out' macine :(
