so happy its finally done you know why shakira fans are so passionate about this #1 cause she should have had it back in 2002 with WW and the UK is shakira's toughest market cause some people don't take her seriously cause she is not from an english speaking country not only that but the classy way she did it it kept on building our hopes for 3 weeks, i didn't think she could do #3 to #2 to #1!! that is really rare nowadays :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: hopefully because of this #1 shakira may do more than 1 tour date in the UK!? lets hope so

I don't recall any single going #3,#2 and then #1.

im delighted she finally has a uk number 1 under her belt,and its even better the way she has climbed to the top also,

now i just hope the album gets top 10 but a number 1 single is brilliant promo so the album should benefit come next sunday

Although im not a great fan of shakira, i love hips dont lie and she thoroughly deserved number one at last, so congrats to shakira and all her fans for helping her out! i might go and buy her album today lol!
