Co-hosts Kopečka have spent the last week reviewing some of the thirty greatest entries of the hundreds that have been entered into this spectacular institution over the past twelve months, and it has been a very very painful process...but we've narrowed it down to our favourite ten and done the painstaking task of ordering them all. So, without further ado we hand the voting over to our President and the Head of the ISCBK Trashe Svantselius (La Roux of course being unavailable due to her participation in the contest!), who is in the middle of the vast crowd which has congregated in Zagorasta's town centre to see the results! Ten points are awarded to one of our favourite discoveries which we would have very happily seen above us in this particular contest...it's clear from the results so far that at least people think this fantastically 80s tune is on a level with our wonderful Priscilla! Ten points go to Donkeyboy (Ambitions) of Greenfroze (XIX). Dix points sont attribués à Congelévert! And finally, this track was responsible for one of the biggest mistakes in Kopeček voting EVER. After a day of listening it was stuck on five points. After three days it had moved up to eight points and the votes were sent accordingly. After a week I was sorely regretting not giving it a twelve and feared that those missing four points could have robbed this adorably tender and life-affirming track of the victory it so dearly deserved. After nearly five months it is easily one of my favourite songs of the year and potentially rivalling Margaret Berger for being my favourite discovery of all time for this contest! Thank you very very much Rich for this...
